Yeah... I know I've been 'new' to MMA for a couple years at this point and don't keep up with day to day stuff or events, but I've never even heard of this guy.

Good Striking/Wrestling/Submissions. He actually has a complete game and isn't a specialist ala..... Sonnen/Okami/Belfort. That said, he only has 9 fights, and while he could definitely be champ one day, its Anderson Silva....

At this point I haven't heard of the majority of Silva's opponents. He's been running wild over the division for years now, every middleweight whose name you recognize has already lost to him.

We'll see I guess. It just seems like all the insider guys think he's got a real shot. Only thing comparable was all the hype Cain was getting. You could see it with Cain though, and I don't necessarily see why the hype is there with this guy.

Hopefully he proves me wrong. I'd love a great fight.
