Had to get used to the radial wheel but after that the game felt smooth. Not sure how I feel about the extra GS combo, feels clunky when you get locked into that long animation, but I'm sure it takes some getting used to. I plan on trying DS and Heavy bowgun before deciding what to main this game.

Radial wheel for items and chatting is much faster than I imagined. Being able to set favorites is handy too.

Beta is PS4 only, PC version will not even enter development until console version is out, so you are looking at 6 months minimum, no hard date announced.

There is no bonus for killing Rathalos and Diablos in the beta, they are just in there for the hardcore players who want a challenge.

Tried the Longsword to see if it is diferent from other old MH (before 4). Well it is!

We are lighting it up right now in four player coop. Game is legit. Looks so good in 4K hdr and I am so happy this isn’t a piece of shit exclusive on switch at 720p in horseshit hardware. Good call capcom!

So now that we are lucid, I have to say that playing with you guys was awesome. I cannot wait for the main game launch.

Seriously. Great time. TJT nt sure how many shots you made us drink, I think around 6. “Hey guys we died let’s do a shot”. But I may have to buy a new liver when this game comes out.

Yep. This is a real monster hunter. Glad this isn’t on 720p docked on 8 year old hardware. Monster hunter in 4K oled and HDR? Absolutely amazing. And great with friends.

MH3 was pretty shitty on the Wii U, it was a lot better on the 3DS because portability makes a lot of sense for the series.

Can't wait to see how MH world looks on the PC without being held back by PS4 tech though.

I found MH3 on the 3DS completely unplayable due to the controls. No idea how people can stand to play hundreds on hours of it, especially with how godawful a 3D environment in motion looks on a 240p screen. Wii U was a little annoying because you couldn't really use a pro controller due to too much info on the gamepad, but at least it was 1080p.

Beta was a lot of fun and I am really liking that we are starting to get PC like options on the graphics. On the pro it gave me the option to favor resolution, frame rate or graphic quality. Went with FPS as HDR by itself seems way better than the bump from 1080 to 2060. Hoping they do a PC beta before the console release or I could see myself double dipping.

I didn't mind it on the new 3DS, but I preferred the old PS2 ones due to controls. It was awful on the PSP though.
