i'd try out the free beta on PS4 (this weekend I think?), I just really can't get into the game at all even though every video and description always makes it sound awesome. I did try MH4 on 3DS and got bored quickly too so may just not be my kinda game. I prefer playing solo most of the time too so maybe without playing co-op it loses a lot of its appeal.
PS4 has an exclusive Aloy skin I think, only reason I could think of getting it over xbox one. Not sure they would really optimize it that well for One X, although good news is both the Pro and X enhancements are in day one launch

I have it currently pre ordered in store pickup but if I don't really feel the game this weekend gonna cancel, can always play on PC in six months

They do if you chat with them, friend did that today before failing to get a MW Pro before they sold out, but he got his preorder copy from PSN refunded.
Never played a MH game before, but looking forward to Worlds. This weekend's beta should answer my question of whether the learning curve on this is too steep for me to enjoy out of the gate.

It runs' really great on a stock PS4, about the only time I got slowdown was when me and my friends did a full heavy bowgun Diablos kill(The particles zomg), but on Pro it is buttery smooth all the time...

I haven’t tried it yet but will be giving it a go later tonight. Never played a monster Hunter game before so I’ve been reading about it so it’s not quite so overwhelming when I try it. From what I’ve read I believe the clunky feeling is because you cannot cancel animations so it takes practice to get fluid. Eventually that clunkiness will go away as you master the different weapon combos.

Terrible phone picture. Ended up doing this solo with dual swords. Still trying to adjust to great sword but the subtle differences from 3DS are throwing me for a loop.
