My group usually is 4 when we game in the evenings, and we're preparing for a LAN in a week or two with 4-8 playing.
Our go-to's currently:
AOE4 vs CPU
Gunfire Reborn
Phasmophobia
Gloomhaven (this is your best bet for a long term commitment for 4-players game a la Divinity as long as everyone like the game)
Stolen Realm (relatively simple, but love this game, up to 6 players)
Forza Horizon 5
Element TD 2
Recently played but haven't picked back up lately
Wildermyth
Avengers (about to duo this w/ a friend, all the post release content)
In addition to the above, off the top of my head these will likely get some play during the LAN
Insurgency
Rocket League
GTA V (heists, etc)
Golf w/ Friends
Considering a builder, but probably just be a few of us in the days after the LAN
Astroneer
Osiris: new Dawn
Factorio
Satisfactory
Valheim
No Man's Sky
Some honorable mentions we've tinkered with in the past
HYPERCHARGE: Unboxed - action figures + wave defense = win
Tribes of Midgard
Darksburg
Tabletop Simulator (workshop full of board games)
Blightbound
Sentinels of the Multiverse
Trine games
Nine Parchments
Scrap Mechanic
Dying Light
Deep Rock Galactic
Anything that remotely looks like an MMO makes a couple of my friends break out in hives or something, which is a bummer but whatever. There are some good ones that would be fun with a group (even the free tier in WoW, 1-20 or whatever, leveling + dungeons, would be worth of a mention even if you quit at that point).
