The first season is enjoyable but the show really didn't click for me until the Everlight episode (looks like episode 11 after the Quarantine special).

Even the people on the show itself hate Ashly Burch and constantly slag on her for being her.

The best character is easily Jo, the assistant.

Jo is hilarious and the main reason to watch this show. I will say this season has been the best since season 1.

If so, I'd love to revel in their hatred vicariously. Do you have any links to them talking shit about her? I hate that bitch so much that if I were to ever meet her, I wouldn't hesitate to tell her that she's a worthless cunt.

It's worth a watch if you're a member of this forum who's played MMO's of any sort.

You'll relate to a lot of scenarios they deal with.

This has been a good season. The show has been getting stronger over time.

So I just finished season two, and I realized that sadly the best episodes of the show are the bottle episodes (not sure they're technically bottle episodes) taking place in the past with Dark Quiet Place and CW's backstory. Which means the episodes with the actual characters, the meat of the show, is holding it back.

Season 3's bottle episode made me smile alot. They even bothered to use an actual PS1 with FF9 instead of being lazy and using a newer console version which probably would have been easier. I liked three a lot, including the revelation at the end with Ian and Poppy. I could have done away with Abed's and Jo's conclusion but the show really isn't about them. All and all having Charlie Day in the writers room helped and it was noticeable, it was a good season.

I've had the last 2 episodes of season 3 sitting on my hard drive since they first aired. I FINALLY got around to watching them. It was nice seeing the show again. And more importantly, Mythic Quest's new idea is the same thing EverQuest Next was going to try to do. The entire last episode was leaning that direction from the opening sequence. Oh well, I still liked seeing it.

Just started watching this with the wife and we are 4 episodes in. Wife thinks it's really funny even if she doesn't get all the references.

Ian, David, Poppy, the monetization guy (?) and Jo the assistant have all made me laugh. However the two lesbians or whatever the fuck is going on there in QA doesn't even attempt to be funny.

It's like the show was written by two really funny dudes and some random chick.

They try to walk the line of being funny and not offensive but include some woke narratives. I enjoy the show but it makes any hope of the next season of Its Always Sunny being good very low.

Yea you can tell which scenes/jokes are obviously written by Rob or Charlie. Also Ian and Dave are almost like alternate versions of Mac and Cricket which I have zero problem with.

Woke culture is/was a part of the gaming industry, so it's not out of place here. I just think Poppy and Jo do a sufficient job at telling those jokes. The other two are just over the top unrealistic tropes that bring zero funny to the table and can't act in comparison to the rest of the cast.

The show would be a hell of a lot better if they just outsourced QA to India.

Well Ashley Burch (the obnoxious dyke, white girl) is one of the main writers on the show I believe. And she's one of the biggest obnoxious woke piles of dogshit around. So yeah it makes sense you're not enjoying any of her scenes.

This season has been pretty bad. Then this dinner murder episode was entertaining... until the end. Fuck off, faggots.

I'm tapping out.

Well that doesn't sound good for my date night with the wife.

I was just coming here to say that I've been watching this with the wife and we just finished up season 3. The gay duo are just out of there league and detract from the overall show, but other than that I've been enjoying the watch.

I'm not getting out of season 4, so I may be back to bitch about that.
