I like how he refers to "Lebron's history of cramps" like everybody should know Lebron immediately goes into convulsions when playing in warm weather.

Playing with the flu is not like having cramps. Anyone ever have a charlie horse? Do you really think you could run and jump like an NBA player needs to? Now, I think it says something about Lebron's conditioning or preparation since he's the only one to have had problems, but conflating it with the flu is a bit silly.

Yea after reading some of these posts I question whether some of you have ever had a leg cramp like that? You're not playing with it and even after it goes away it's almost a sure thing that it comes back if you try to go back in. That being said, I loved every second of it and I'm sad we didn't experience this with our good friend Gaige.

They're definitely two different things, but you guys are acting like playing with the flu/food poisoning is no big deal. Last time I had a fever of 102? I laid on the couch for hours because I didn't have the energy to go to the next room and take some tylenol. Jordan had 103? and put up 38 points.

Saying that's nothing compared to leg cramps is just as bad

Muscle cramps are no joke. It's really hard to have free movement when your muscles are constantly contracted.

Very much doubt it has anything to do with his conditioning. I'd guess it's cause the guy is pushing the limits of what a person that size can do. Nobody 6'8 260 has ever played any sport the way Lebron does with the continuous power and speed he plays with. The D the Heat were playing yesterday was pretty tenacious at that times. I'm not surprised a guy his size, trying to play 40 minutes at that level, in 90 degree heat, at the speed he goes at, might have some issues keeping up that pace. In more quantitative terms, he likely consumes more energy than most other players because he plays like a guard but he's carrying around much more weight. Muscles only have so much energy in their stores.
