It only went to OT because the Heat don't care about the regular season.....
Please tell me you all saw PGs 360 dunk.
Please tell me you all saw PGs 360 dunk.
Now everyone has!It only went to OT because the Heat don't care about the regular season.....
Please tell me you all saw PGs 360 dunk.
Why is it so hard to believe? Have you seen the standings in the East? Teams with below .500 records are going to make the playoffs. They've already won the title as a #2 seed.It only went to OT because the Heat don't care about the regular season.....
That's even dumber then. I can't think of anything that may have happened 2 years ago they could have hurt the Bulls chances in that series. I guess the Heat just didn't care about that regular season, then for some reason cared last year, and now suddenly don't care again. And two years ago when Rose was healthy? Only an idiot would assume I was talking last year when DRose sat out the entire fucking year.
Second longest streak in NBA history tends to do that. Already forgot about that too?then for some reason cared last year
First year together. At least they made the Finals. Brooklyn's new super team looks pretty... super.I guess that year they didn't care about the regular season or the finals
Well considering it looks like Rose isn't likely to ever be healthy again, I don't see how this conversation matters. Without the streak happening last year I doubt they get the #1 seed. They don't play for it. They've never played for it. It's not their thing, especially this year. Health in the playoffs is the focus. The only time the Heat got passed a healthy Rose
Ha, you spent a bit more time explaining my stance - and you're exactly right. KD is the best offensive player in the league - maybe in the past 10 years (and he's easily the 2nd best player in the NBA as well)... but Rusty Buckets is the key to how far they go.As someone who watches a ton of Thunder basketball, I have to agree with Springbok. Durant helps the team more in a very obvious way, he scores a ton of points all the time; however, we have seen that when Westbrook is out that even his points don't win us games. That is because Westbrook is a guy that dictates the pace of the game on both ends of the court. He has a great sense of when to keep it or dish it on offense and can lock down all but maybe 2 of the other PG's in the league. Without Durant, Westbrook can still slow down the entire game and help find the 2 or 3 guys that are playing well enough to keep it close. Without Westbrook, Durant can try and score more than the top 3 players on the opposing team and still only win 50% of the time. It then become much easier for an opposing team to defend against the Thunder because they only have to worry about Durant.
Is Durant better than Westbrook? Yes
Is a Durant only Thunder better than a Westbrook only Thunder? Yes
Is a Durant only Thunder team much easier to game plan around than a Westbrook only Thunder team? Yes.
Do you even bother proofreading the bullshit you type? You're making Gaige look smart, step away from the fucking keyboard son. That's even dumber then. Just reread it and it looks like you think Rose was healthy 2 years ago. The only time the Heat got passed a healthy Rose is the same yeah they got pimp slapped by Dirk I the finals. I guess that year they didn't care about the regular season or the finals
What part was wrong?Do you even bother proofreading the bullshit you type? You're making Gaige look smart, step away from the fucking keyboard son.
Nice circular logic there. They only tried hard in the regular season because of their win streak they got by trying hard in the regular seasonSecond longest streak in NBA history tends to do that. Already forgot about that too?
You're right on that one, 3 great players coming together on a team just can't win a title their first year. It's just not realisticFirst year together. At least they made the Finals. Brooklyn's new super team looks pretty... super.
I'm not denying that once the streak got into double digits they starting caring about extending it, sure. Media hype and all. However getting to double digits probably wasn't their focus - they just play in a shitty conference. They only tried hard in the regular season because of their win streak they got by trying hard in the regular season
Never said can't. I said didn't. Of course you can. However that Celtics team got one ring and lost a Finals. The Heat have 2 rings and lost a Finals. Not like you're making a very good argument about the Heat being bad. You're right on that one, 3 great players coming together on a team just can't win a title their first year.
