Pacers drop the Thunder while Heat are embarrassed by the Hawks. I'm looking forward to the Pacers/Nets Eastern Conference Finals
Heat have already won a title without home court. They don't need the #1 seed. They never stated it's their main goal of the season like the Pacers have. Pacers aren't even going to make the ECF no matter which seed they get anyway so I don't even give a shit about them. The only thing the Heat should be worried about is the Spurs coming out of the West.

Knicks beat the Bulls tonight to undo the damage they caused the other night. Raptors just need to beat Milwaukee and New York to clinch the #3 seed...it's probably going to come down to the last night of the season.

Probably helps that he has played about 1500 minutes less this season. I really don't give a fuck about Wade. LeBron should be resting for the playoffs but of course he can't because the rest of the Heat can't stay healthy.

Toronto's nipping on their heels only back 8 games!

Gaige would you rather see Bron do something amazing like 50 ppg and see the heat lose to another tea m or Bron have a horrible post season and the heat win another title?

I'd rather LeBron play amazing and they lose. He is going to get a few more titles regardless. I think him disappearing like he did in 2011 is the worst thing for his legacy. If he plays amazing all playoffs and Wade/Bosh & Co fuck it up (as has been the case this entire regular season) it's hard to shit talk him much. Of course I'd rather they win but your hypothetical scenario of him playing horrible and them winning is a pipe dream. If he plays horrible they lose.

Ever heard of the expression: 'No one is better than the team'?

No matter what the sport, the team always comes before the individual

Take me for example, I support a team in Soccer. Over the course of the past few years, we sold a couple of our best players who I greatly admired to a team in Spain. This fucked us up completely (especially so when the money received for said players were stupidly spent on crap) and as a result, the team has struggled greatly this year in the league.

Did it piss me off? Hell, yeah. Did it cause me to stop supporting the team? Nope.

You stick with your team through good times and bad.

Players come and go but the team stays.

You are a LeBron fan. You are not a basketball fan.

#2 seed is looking better anyway. Bobcats, Wizards, Raptors sounds a lot better than Hawks, Bulls, Nets.

Stop rationalizing. Atlanta is a walkover. That's a sweep for either team. Bobcats might actually take a game. And when Toronto chokes against the Knicks on Wednesday, Bulls are jumping to 3rd, so you'd get them in the 2nd round. Even if you don't, Toronto is better than you realize...they're just as dangerous as the Bulls or Nets. In either case, I guess I can understand if you're scared of the Nets since they swept the Heat.

Despite all the creeping doubt in the last month or so, it will probably still be Indiana and Miami in the Conference Finals. Indiana is going to kick it into gear. As much as I love the Raptors, I just want to see the 2nd round and not get swept there. Anything beyond that would just be icing.

If they both go '01 Lakers and can just turn it on in the playoffs. They've both inexplicably been terrible lately, so losing focus over a long season is definitely possible. I don't think I could see either of them over the West in the finals, though

I think it would be hilarious if Brooklyn randomly won the East this year after all the bullshit.

Brooklyn/Warriors, you heard it here first!

God. Feel awful for Warriors fans. Bogut's first relatively healthy season in three years and he fractures a rib right before the playoffs. Shitty.

We probably won't make it past the Clippers anyway - even if he was healthy. We've played the Clippers well this year and there is a nice rivalry building between them as the new team to beat in CA, but the Clippers are a better team. Remember we still managed to beat a #3 seed Nuggets last year without David Lee so I'm hoping we can make something happen, but it's gonna be rough without Bogut's boards. We'll need Harrison Barnes to step up for playoffs again. Draymond Green has also been a monster and he's stepping up at the right time.

Fuck the Nets. Hate Kidd...hate Williams...going to be really disappointing if we lose to these douchebags again.
