You mean if LeBron shot 2 FT's/game and had 5 FGA's due to travelling?
Just because LeBron is the best athelete in the NBA and he is faster and stronger than 99% of the people in the NBA doesn't mean you should be able to do flying elbow shivers to his throat in an attempt to stop a layup. If McRoberts makes that exact same play on KD you know he gets tossed, suspended and fined.

LeBron earns his FTs. Traveling complaints are stupid, it's the NBA. Everybody travels.

That was a payback play though. Shit like that wouldn't happen if the refs would call the game fairly and correctly.
To hell with fair and correctly; I'd rather they just call them consistently! If both teams are getting called for touch fouls then at least it is EVEN. Case in point: Begining of Q4 of the Rockets/Blazers last night and the Blazers put in their scrub center to guard Dwight. Heat have the ball and the refs blow the whistle twice in about 5 seconds on the backup center for trying to hold his position against Dwight off the ball. Heat miss the ensuing shot and on the rebound Dwight almost lays the guy out with no call and the broadcasters have the balls to say "Dwight showing you what PLAYOFF basketball looks like." WHAT THE HOLY FUCK GAME ARE THEY WATCHING.

It is runing the game. Middle and High School players are called for traveling all the time becuase if they aren't they become lazy players. Why is acceptable for these athletes to reach the pinnacle of the sport and be allowed to regress. I don't care how much money you make or how many points you average; if you just took a third step and the ball is still in your hands then you are bad and should be called for traveling.

The whole "traveling is never called in the NBA" thing is heavily based on observation bias. I won't say that some star players don't get some leeway time to time but it's not something refs just allow all the time. It's mostly an armchair fair weather fan thing.

So the Heat have the ball and the Blazers backup Center fouls the Rockets Center? Then the Rockets center takes it out on the Heat center to get back at the Blazers? Wtf was going on in that game?

As long as somebody randomly breathed on LeBron and Gaige called for them to be put to death, it would be the best game EVER.

Scott Brooks is a goddamn idiot. There is no good reason to keep Adams on the bench when no one on the team can hit a jump shot. But no, he isn't going to change a single fucking thing about what we're doing even though it clearly isn't working. Also, he should be hammering into his team to drive the ball directly at Gasol every play. Instead, he'll waste the 2 foul gift that he was given in the first quarter.

If they lose the first round and Brooks isn't fired I'll be surprised. Guy has always been a terrible coach.

They probably need to make to finals for Brooks to keep his job, or at least a strong showing in the WCF. Outside of a few exceptions, most pro coaches have a limited time in which the players buy into the system. After so many years of hearing the same things, the players tune out.

How OKC and IND have been playing so far is really surprising me. Indiana fans had to have such high hopes for this season and, while it's not looking bleak yet, but the team is in damn near crisis mode.
