Yeah, and that is what's going to keep them from being contenders I think. KD isn't going to be able to shoot 80% from the three every night. In a seven game series, Brooks won't be able to keep up.

All they have to do though is stay the course. Dallas is old. SA is super old. OKC just needs to not get swept up in Durant to Toronto rumors or whatever bullshit gets talked about. Pay those players. Let Dirk and Duncan turn 40 or whatever. Win championships. Hopefully fire Brooks sometime in there too.

Man this Portland/SA game has been awesome. Thought Rondo was funny, honest, etc today in his press conference - a little annoyed he was so late for it though!

Josh Smith cut. Hahahaha. I can't believe like how heralded Joe Dumars was (he put together a championship team so whatever I guess) only to run the team into the ground and how everyone after has just made things worse. Bring Josh Smith in to play the 3? Why not! If I was running that team and it was possible for me to buy out every single player except for Drummond I would do it.

Wow, did not see that one coming. Ugh, I don't look forward to him going to a contender with an alpha that puts JSmoove's head on straight. Will be a rasheed wallace type pickup.

Seems like a pretty perfect fit to me. Smith is such a weird player. He's SO good defensively all he really has to do on offense is not be incredibly, horribly inefficient and he's going to help a team win. The problem is unless he has a coach that can really pull him in, he has an awful hard time doing the latter. I'm not sure McHale is that guy but maybe Harden can just not pass him the ball or something.

Khad-amn Kenny Smith just wiped Shaq the fuck out in studio during half time of the Warrior/Clippers game. Barkley was laughing so hard he was speechless. Fuckin' gold.

Lakers are a lot better when Kobe doesn't play.
The truth is it just doesn't matter. This team has literally one player on the roster (and he's even out injured for the year) that will be on the team in 4 years. They are in ultra rebuild mode and the 'holy shit what FA can we lure to LA from a crappy market' frenzy probably won't be a thing until Anthony Davis' second contract is up. Kobe can even extend a couple years out past the next year of his deal and chase more points if he wants. That team is beyond irrelevant and will be for a while.

I still think they'll turn it around faster than say, the Timberwolves, as even though Jim is like the bastard retard child of the Buss family, they still have Kupchack.

James Harden played defense tonight. I saw it, it happened and I didn't imagine it!
