OKC finally going all in during the Durant era? Should have done it with Harden but better late than never!

Edit: Oh, they cannot do this trade now. Shame. Liked it more than Waiters.

Now Mozgov to Cleveland is happening. Perfect fit.

Calling Nurkic as rookie of the year right now.

Edit: holy shit two firsts? Cleveland mortgaging everything, this is a dumb deal even if he is exactly what they need.

Did you watch the game ? The were more miss calls that would have went the Bulls way if they were called let alone the T called on Thibs that was bullshit.
Yes and it was a lopsided game from a foul calling stand point. That tech was a joke to go along with the officiating of it.

They're not in first place.

Lost an OT game in Portland and they fought hard against Golden State, but the last two games against Phoenix and Charlotte have been pathetic. I was going to give them a pass on the Suns game since it was the end of a 6-game road trip, but the Hornets game was unacceptable, even if my boy Kemba Walker has been playing out of his mind lately.
Partially Casey's fault for insisting on starting Fields instead of letting James Johnson keep the starting role. Also not continuing to feed Valanciunas after the first quarter is an issue. Too much of the load is on Lowry and Lou Williams right now and this team settles for far too many jump shots with DeRozan gone. I was really hoping Ross would assert himself during this opportunity, but he hasn't and it's caused me to really sour on him. He's a 3 and D guy that's good, but not exceptional at 3ing or Ding.
The defensive rotations leave way too many opportunities for offensive rebounds and our guards take chances on the outside leaving easy attacks at our rim. Amir Johnson is the best at rotating and then getting back, but it's a difficult scheme and JV is getting too much of the blame for the lack of rebounds and rim protection since he's being put in nearly impossible situations. Then he's getting benched for it.

I've only watched two Raptors games this season, but it seems like Valanciunas isn't nearly involved enough in the offense. That guy is good.

Through all of the playoff goodness I wanted to chime in on Gasol's career high. Solid vindication after the Laker's dumped him. And let me sneak in a FU Kobe.

There are like 27 good young centers out of fucking nowhere now. First Gobert, then Nurkic, now Hassan Whiteside is killing it. Yet Cleveland has to give up two firsts for Mozgov.

Cavs got boatraced tonight by the Kings. 19-19 overall now...the good thing is that most of the band wagoners have stopped posting on the Cavs board I check daily...the bad thing is everything else at the moment.

Wiggins showing some real potential this last month or so. Good to see after how much he just floated through the first part of the season.

Wolves such a mess though. Wiggins will have to turn into a legit top 5 player for him to overcome Flip's decision making. Doubt he gets that good, but being a Wolves fan has made me a pessimist for sure.

We were playing the Warriors a couple weeks back and the broadcast pointed out this stat that made me laugh. At that point in the season Steph and Klay had made 370 some 3s combined shooting near 40% while the entire Wolves team had made 320 shooting 32%.

We're not a great shooting team by any means so it's not like the percentages are surprising, but Flip literally dictates who is allowed to shoot the long ball (on this team its essentially just Kevin Martin and Mo Williams) and everyone else is shut down. We take more long 2s than anyone in the league. 18 foot 2 pointer? Green light. 22 foot 3? Fuck no. He's a coach living in the 80s and doesn't understand modern day basketball at all. He's also the GM and part owner. Kill me.

Prokhorov selling the Nets now, but he got to run them into the ground first so there's that. I wonder if he's just sick of it or if the Russian economy crashing makes it necessary. Have to think a smart guy like that wouldn't be holding it all in rubles but still.
