Jamal Crawford and Derrick Rose is a good pairing for teams trying to tank Tom Thibodeau.

I think it unlikely anyone will catch Stockton with the way the game is now. There's so much more ball movement and distribution of responsibility in the modern game. There's four guys averaging eight or more assists now and back in, say, the late eighties or early nineties, it would be 8-12 guys averaging that much.

However, even taking into account the era difference, he was still eclipsing his in-era competition by 2-3 assists per game in his prime.

Westbrook is .3 rebounds a game from averaging another triple double. I don't think we are talking about this enough.

I just talked about his triple double production from last year recently and someone mocked me for it.

Whoever that was....hey, that boy is at it again, AND THATS WITH GEORGE AND ANTHONY ON HIS TEAM.

it's a shame Simmons missed last season because he and Mitchell both make better Rookie of the Year candidates than Brogdon

Probably not Hornets fans on this board but it's frustrating that people would see Howard let go or the Hornets not be able to keep him. 32 pts and 30 rebs in his 13th season tonight as a pro and that's the chatter in Charlotte? He's a keeper til he's ready to retire IMO. Make him a Hornet for life. He's brought life to the franchise. They won't make the playoffs but a lot more people are invested in this season as compared to seasons passed. I think the experiment went well and there is talks of blowing up the whole thing. Keep Kemba and Dwight is my thinking. He may never have a season from here on out as good as this one but big guys like that teach younger guys. Not your Zellers and Kaminskys but athletic big dudes. Sucks to be a Hornets fan sometimes, but I hope they get this one right.

Craziest part about LBJ breaking MJ's consecutive double digit streak is had he not only scored 8 points in that game that started this streak he'd be at 1019 right now ;O

East is very interesting now. I could see the Sixers making it to the ECF. And I thought The Process was never going to be successful.

If you call the playing for the rights to being swept by the Warriors as "intetesting"

Yup, if the Warriors don't get healthy and get their shit together soon, I can easily see the Rockets beating them

Celtics lost Heyward in the first game of the season. Now Kyrie for the rest of season and playoffs. All the other injuries they have dealth with.

I hate to say their season was snakebitten, but honestly I think it was. I think the bad karma from Ainge off-loading IT the way he did after his hip injury was a factor and created negative energy that lingered. Its not the Celtics' fault he got hurt. And it was the right decision in the end.

Either way Embiid getting hurt is awful. If he could have stayed healthy who knows what the Sixers could have done. The only good thing about these injuries is guys like Brown, Tatum, Simmons and other young guys are getting major experience.

Or that LBJ had played 2000 more minutes than MJ by October of this past year? LeBron James has already played more NBA minutes than Michael Jordan did in his entire career

I guess it is crazy to think that in the modern NBA, a superstar will get more than 9 points in games he plays. Almost as crazy as comparing the GOAT to a guy who was disappointing early and has a very poor finals record. I guess he can pad meaningless stats while adding more meaningless minutes.

I'm pulling for the Rockets but I just can't look past The Beard's playoff history. Guy was terrible last year. Anyone but the Cavs/Warrs would be refreshing.

Not wild about a couple of the potential first round matchups out there with Steph probably being out still, especially Thunder.

Not counting on Harden / Paul playoff history to be indicative of what we see this year either. That team only knows how to win games right now.

Sixers are legit for sure. They're going to be terrifying when Lebron joins them next year. Even if Kyrie had been able to play I'd have given the Sixers a shot to take them down in a series this year.

If you don't believe in unseen life forces and karma, well then I feel bad for you bro.

I see karma balance life out daily.
