Correction. They didn't lose Kyrie. Lebron ran him out of town.

You mean, because Lebron is a maniacal overbearing control freak? I would say to that, well, yeah. Or do you mean he ran him out for other reasons?

My understanding was, Kyrie was tired of living under the basketball nazi. That's my take. Always eager to hear other takes.

We can hope! But I still wouldn't bet against them

Rather them lose in the second since he's never had a first round loss but doesn't really matter. Sooner the better lol. I'm getting irritated watching these games.

Who cares about Kyrie? Last I checked he wouldn't be playing right now even if he was still on the Cavs

The Cavs are still going to win this series. If anything you figured they would lose one of the 3 games in Indiana and one of the 4 at home.

If the win game 4 in Indy, they go back home tied for Game 5, with momentum. Cavs in 7.

Edit: the Pacers are a sneaky good team. But Bognonovic isn't going to go 4 for 4 from 3 in the 4th quarter again for the rest of the playoffs, and LeBron has another 40 point game in him so I'm not worried.

" I was terrible in the 3rd quarter. Couldn't make a shot." LBJ said. I like this new Lebron. Not the honest, team player part. The shitty in the 3rd, gets outplayed by a guy named Bojan Bogdanovic version. Gaige Gaige , good stuff, right?

Ya I'm sure Bojan will continue to have career nights this series.

No one is amazing all the time, not even LeBron.

Not given up per say, just I know they can't win the chip so I don't see the point of LeBron exerting himself for what at best would be another Final's loss. Better to lose early, rest and recover and come back next season on a team not owned by dumbass Gilbert and get the job done.

AD doing AD things like expected, but once again Holiday is just blowing up right now. No one was able to come close to checking him the whole series. Looking forward to seeing him and Klay matchup in the next round.

This Jazz season has reduced my NBA salt levels by 60%. For some reason I love Joe Ingles.

I was rooting for Lillard since he's a Utah (Weber State) guy but the Pelicans look great. Davis has been the best player of the playoffs so far I think.

So, are the raptors going to choke the series away and have yet another disappointing run?

I really thought this year might be different.

A series doesn't start until a team loses at home.
With that said, the Raptors have looked like shit the last two games.

These playoffs have been incredible.

The fact that the Pelicans brought out the brooms for the higher seeded Blazers, is insane, as not a single talking head here or anywhere picked the Pelicans to win the series nevermind every single game. Not only that but Jrue Holliday basically MASSACRED Dame Lillards career. Lots of young basketball fans in Rip City are no longer interested in his new rap songs, sneakers, or care about him as a player after watching that happen.

Now the Raptors vs Wizards is 2-2. Bucks vs Celtics is 2-2 and Cavs vs Indy is tied 2-2. Hell the Spurs even won one for Erin Poppovich and Steph Curry.

What the hell is the home and aways in the NBA now? I remember at one point they were doing 2-3-2 but now im confused. I thought Games 3 and 4 would be in Indy but last nights game was in CLE. Anyway, The Cavs will win game 5 and might close them out in game 6.

2-2-1-1-1 is so much better than 2-3-2. Spurs winning was good, but their season has been a damn mess. Kawhi hurt and missing more than 70 games, other injuries and personal tragedies. On the plus side Ginobili and Parker are now the winningest teammates in playoff history.

To be fair, "higher seed" means one more win in the regular season in this case. The West was a jumbled clusterfuck for seeds 3-8. Anyone who thought Portland was going to destroy NOLA simply because they were a three seed didn't look any deeper into the matchup.

The second round is going to be fun though. I'll be in NOLA May 2-9. Maybe only missing one game of the inevitable Pelicans-Warriors second round while there. If tickets aren't a terrible price I'll try to go if it doesn't conflict with Jazz Fest shenanigans.

I was at the Pels/Blazers Game 4 and had tickets in the 300's for about $60 a piece. My cheap ass friend refused to drop more for better seats. I suspect GS tickets will inflate the prices based on it being GS and you can probably expect 100 level tickets to be around $175-200.
