I have to agree, the wife and I played it over the weekend and had solid fun on the quests leveling. Also had fun in some foundry quests. Still remains to be seen what the end game will be like, or if they'll just lean on the foundry to keep people interested. For the crafting and AH obsessed they even have the ability to do crafting and AH work via the web (and at this point aren't charging for it)i dont think its safe to say its falling to pieces. I enjoyed playing through it once and im sure a lot of people shared that experience. Most will keep playing, some will put up $$.
Seems to be. which is balls.Does anyone know how much crafting relies on those cash shop items that come in the packs? Like the blue/purple smithing hammers that increase quality by up to 40%?
They have been actively removing them since yesterday. I'm sure it is possible to keep finding new ones, but I don't know if it is worth the trouble now. It was the fastest leveling by far, but it is extremely boring and Neverwinter doesn't exactly have the end game content that is worth rushing for.Looks like all the sploit foundry quests are all for ranged AOE classes. Boohoo.
You realize that publishing companies don't design games right? You realize that Perfect World OWNS cryptic right?
Where did you hear anything about bans? They've only been removing the maps from the menu as far as I know, which is expected.I think it'd be ridiculous for them to start banning people for Foundry "exploits". It's their tool, and they've had plenty of time to test it in STO, at least. Maybe some bans if you repeated that one that sounded like you could exploit pathing and couldn't be hit. Anything else, though, is just you killing mobs. It's hardly an exploit. And if anyone wants to do it, and can't find one, you can make one yourself in like 10 minutes.
Two posts above mine is all I've heard, haven't been on the NWN forums lately. He does say "suspensions" not bans, I just tend to think of a suspension as a temp ban.Where did you hear anything about bans? They've only been removing the maps from the menu as far as I know, which is expected.
I haven't read anything official on bans. I just said it wouldn't surprise me if the people who abused it the hardest got nailed. Just like that merchant in GW2 that got exploited. Most of my guildies didn't get nailed for only grabbing a pair of weapons. Shit loads got sent packing for abusing the shit out of it though. Getting a few levels off ogres is likely a non issue. Going 4-60 with it though may not end well for anyone who did it.Where did you hear anything about bans? They've only been removing the maps from the menu as far as I know, which is expected.
You said "Bunch of people were saying last night that they plan on handing out a bunch" , which after thinking about it I assume was from in game chat and might just be people trolling as they love to do.I haven't read anything official on bans. I'm talking about the maps with the ogres stuck in a box. I see no problems with the ogre gauntlets. You have to actually fight in those.
I wouldn't worry about it. I imagine they will go after the people making them, and those who abused it and have high level characters because of it. Suspending someone who tried it a few times is pretty stupid.Oh I see a thread now in the foundry forum with devs going all batshit modding the thread to remove exploit details even though it's obvious as fuck what it was. And yeah there's talks about suspensions for exploiting. Hope they just suspend biggest offenders, I did like 10levels in there![]()
Well that was more than a few times. Whatever anyway could always just powerlevel new chars, don't really need the ogres to be stuck, CWs can easily solo ogres even if they move.I wouldn't worry about it. I'm going to make another effort tonight if one hasn't been made yet. You need to get 5 people in the enclave in a group to start the guild. Last night I was lazy.Is there a forum guild going? I started a rogue on Mindflayer last night and wouldn't mind people to talk to.
