It just feels nice to be excited about an MMO again. Even if I get a few hours of fun thats worth my $15.

zaide hooked up this pathetic beggar. i'll be playing tonight. rolling up an erudite enchanter... might immediately move to qeynos area if stupid toxxulia forest gets too frustrating.

though i imagine the first few weeks will be frustrating no matter what haha. will be fun to watch all this chaos from the inside.

Do we have six people here who would be interested in all doing a power grind group, not having our own boxes but instead boxing each others characters whenever certain members go to sleep/work etc. That way we can keep the group going 24/7 until 50? Maybe a person or two could two box if they're pretty adept at boxing already.

I entirely decided against this, but in the few hours before launch im sayin fuck it.

I'm gonna do a mage/dru combo, 3 boxing is too much effort and money spent on EQ lol. Well see how long the interest lasts. Basically just making a PL team for an iksar monk later

If we get the above mentioned group formed, I can make a box account out of group that we will use to deliver spells/sell loot so we never even have to leave the grind.

Zaide, I've got random friends from all over playing, and so at this point I have no idea what's gonna happen with me or what group I'm gonna end up with. Gonna have to just start adding people to friends list, once I figure out what they are doing in game. If this was TLP 2.0, where I was without kids, and taking vacation for server/expansion openings, I'd be all over it. Alas, I'm not, but maybe I can still be involved.

I plan on rolling a Halfling Paladin, as Halfling Paladin with Guise just sounds amaze!

Love tanking. I wasn't planning on boxing my own guys, but can do it if necessary. Maybe I can be johnny backup to make sure the group keeps on rolling? I'm PST, and stay up until 11pm-12am , so I can be up pretty late usually.

What's the best way to earn pp early on? The best I was able to do on p99 was sell rusty weapons for a gold or 2. Is there any decent way to farm pp for my spells before level 10?

Before level 10? Not really unless you get lucky and find a cracked staff to sell for 1pp? Mid teens the sisters in Lfay will be there (at least they are on P99), and they all drop bronze weapons.

Crone, I'll def hit you up in game then. Note to anyone here, if they open a second server tomorrow or the following day the whole TFO crew will be going to the second server. I encourage you guys to go as well, you'll avoid a bit more of the drama/congestion usually.

If I play I'll roll Monk. If Word and Pharma play with us we basically just need two Mages and we're solid. I can do literally 24 hours for this first time period, but then I work for basically Thurs/Fri/Sat straight. So I'm not 100% sure what I want to do yet.

Porkchop, you can kill the low level guards in Nek for some bronze weapons, or Wil-o-Wisps for the light stones. Both require you to be in the 10-12 range.

I agree with second server having lessened drama - but every indication has made them seem very adverse to the idea. (And with newbie instancing seems like they'd not see the effects of missing it for days)

Human Ranger + (race to be determined at last minute) Bard / High Elf Paladin + (probably Wood Elf but not heard her say yet) Druid for the wife.

DHS for life though, so just putting information out there - probably won't be grouping outside that much. (Wife is the recruitment O - so "not much" is definitely some - but probably rare first week or so)

Instancing newbie zones is cool and all but it's pointless when you can't connect to the server because it's full. TL has like 320 members most of whom will be boxing and that's just one guild. Also with the kind of people who play Classic EQ you know if someone can't log in for five minutes on a server launch night they'll be calling in bomb threats at Daybreak.

Anyone refresh me on how Kronos work? I can get them for $8, so I meet up with the guy in game on any server, get the Kronos, and use it in game, and my account is now the equivalent of paying the $15 sub fee?

Edit: Let's please get a channel going as well to get at least RR bros into the same channel. Start getting familiar with who's who once names are set. I hope to start name saving as soon as I get in game, before I do anything else.
