I didn't see Rodgers-Cromartie out there, so that's at least one 1st stringer missing. You're right, however. The Giants 1st string defense is amuchmore stifling defensive unit. Dri Archer is taking the league by storm! I think I'll take him first in my fantasy draft.

Quite the block by the TE there.

Just hoping the Steelers pick up where they left off, having the best offense in the NFL the second half of the season and averaging over 28 ppg. I think Haley bringing the OL coach from KC who knew the zone blocking scheme helped a ton. Obviously, that + new guys like Bell and Velasquez also learning the offense took some time, but man did it take off once they got on the same page and Haley let Ben run the no huddle for the second half of the year.

I really didn't give two shits about the guy until the dumb fucks over at the Cowboys forum made me fucking hate him with their non-stop whining and crying and even claiming we are now cursed because we didn't draft what will be the 23,423rd Browns 1st round QB bust.

5'10"? The guy is a veritable giant, and he's slow as a slug at 4.33! Even Archer at 5'8" is a bit too tall for the comparison, but at least he's a RB=P Both of them are actually faster than Sproles.

Yeah Cooksisgoing to be awesome fun to watch with Patchface slinging the ball to him and being moved all over the field in that offense.

So what other less-heralded rookies are there around the league that bear watching anyways? I barely pay attention to the Steelers draft, much less the other teams.

FYI, Todd Haley is terrible. He's the guy that refused to start Jamaal Charles in his 2nd year over Larry Johnson. LJ and his 2.9 YPC finally eventually got hurt and Haley had to start Charles, who proceeded to run for over 1100 yards even though he only started half the season and only got 190 carries. Also, Haley thought Tyler Thigpen was an NFL QB. Haley can hold a grudge like nobodies business, to the detriment of the team, just out of spite.

I'm with you on that. I went from annoyed by his cockiness to rooting for him because of the over the top irrational hatred people have of him. Plus, he has people looking forward to Browns preseason games. Holy fuck

i thought JC was in Haley's Dog house because he fumbled alot in practice. Early in his career whenver he would touch the ball, you just waited for that fumble. Still does it more then i like, but no denying he's a great running back!

Haley was just absolutely fucked on quarterback's. I dont think he thought he was a NFL Calibur QB, he was at the time the only QB that was able to move the fucking ball. OUr QB's after Trent Green up until Alex Smith have been by far Clevelend Brownesque. It's been absolutely fucking horrid. Haley had to pick shit and shit. So he went with SHIT. Pioli was the peace of shit that made this team suck so bad for them years. He had no fucking idea wtf he was doing.

I will never forget a few days after Haley got fired, he was on ESPN during one of their shows and the ex NFL players that were in the roundtable were just making fun of the QB's that were in KC during Haley's tenure. They did not that the QB's were forced on him.

Now, thats hit is history, but i dont think he was as bad as people say. Pioli on the other hand was a piece of shit as a football guy and as a human being for all the bullshit he did. Bill Bellichik told Pioli that Jon Baldwin and Julio Jones were the same fucking player, so Pioli drafted Baldwin. There's video of that shit somewhere lol

As Grimm said, he doesnt make those calls in Pittsburgh. He was a very good OC in AZ, and his people skills arent exactly on par for the HC role..... so this seems like his life's calling.
