It will probably be a bigger PR disaster for the NFL if they don't rule on him quickly, and botch another case like the Ray Rice fiasco. People that think he should never play again are in the vast minority in my opinion. The only reason he went on the exempt list in the first place was because of the poor PR timing. Most Vikings fans I've spoken with want him back, and feel the punishment of a misdemeanor fits the crime.
NFL denied him immediate reinstatement, the case is under official review by the NFL now and a ruling should be out sometime next week.

The "domestic violence crowd" isn't even curious in AP, the dude spanked his kid too badly if you think that deserves being permanently banned from the NFL then you are not very smart. Besides it's irrelevant not only would they NOT do it, but it wouldn't hold up even if they DID do it.

Agree with Fennin, but of COURSE the Minnesota fans want him back. Their opinion is biased, though and timing is indeed everything. Honestly if Moss had not been such a colossal fuckup of a human being and drew attention from AP, a lot of this would have broke years ago. This is a major crossroads for the NFL. Either they are "fuck it pro thug for $$" like the NBA has ended up, or they take a long view ethical standard on off field conduct. I really hope it is the latter.
Also, I am hoping for a good game tonight. The Browns are a fun scrappy team to watch, win or lose.

You are aware of the trail of baby momas the dude has left in his wake? Plus if he (or more accurately the media) had not milked the entire situation for publicity, AP would not be in the situation he is right now. And if you look at this in a more cynical light, the NFL banning him and sucking the NFL Players Union into a PR trap that would bury them would be a brilliant move on their part. It would appease the whole feminazi crowd while pawning all of that negativity on a union they have been attempting to deball for years.
