I've been through there. Fucking mosquito's were brutal.

I'm mean, they are annoying here in Missouri, but down there they were outright mean.

Looks like the Raiders are going to try and get Jim Harbaugh. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I reckon he could help them out of the bottom.

I've found that to be true in most areas that are basically marshlands. The pervasive stagnant water breeding grounds create some sort of mutant mosquito that'll land on you, hold up a gun and say, "Gimme some blood!"

Back to football, this should be a fun weekend. Fully expect the Cowboys to show up looking closer to the team that played Chicago than the one that played on Thanksgiving Day.

Doesn't mean they will land him but I think they have a good shot. I also think the 49ers are deluding themselves if they think they are going to get a "better" coach than Harbaugh. How ever with how toxic their relationship is they might get one that will be more successful but I doubt it.

Cards got some "good" news today, Drew Stanton's injury is a sprained knee and he's considered week-to-week.

As one person familiar with Drew Stanton's MRI today said, "Huge relief."

I'm guessing he'll sit next week against Seattle and we'll get to watch the Lindley/Thomas shitshow on Sunday night football. It would be a nice gift if the 49ers manage to beat the Seahawks this Sunday and get the Cards a first round bye.

Not only is that not happening, if Stanton doesn't play against the Seahawks we are probably going to beat the Cards in AZ and get a first round bye for ourselves.
