Yeah I think so, Philbin's shown he's not HC material for the NFL. When he got here he abolishes the leadership council which consists of our best players and trades/releases them. Tries to setup some new plan and the entire Incognito/Martin scandal happens under his rule after the council's removed. He refuses to make in-game adjustments, all last game Dallas Thomas was getting obliterated by Dumervile and he didn't get a single bit of help from the TE/WR, Wheeler is consistently the worst player on the field on defense yet he still plays such a major role. Wheeler could be seen as the sole reason for our run defense woes. He refuses to develop our draft/young talent and stick with worn veterans that can barely play their positions because he's afraid of taking any type of chances. His clock management at the end of games has cost us two losses this season (Packers and Lions). But worst of all the team's had two catastrophic meltdowns in December in back to back seasons. Last years was 10x worse when they lost to Buffalo and NYJ without scoring a touchdown on two of the worst teams in the league. I'd give him a 10% chance of retaining his job and that would only be because we couldn't find someone else, at all. With Rex Ryan and Harbaugh in the pool though I don't see that happening.

If Buffalo can win this game I think they actually have a legit chance of making the playoffs ... Patriots may not have to play their starters week 17.
