Stay classy, Pete Carroll ... FG would have sealed it without looking like a cock wallet for rubbing it in. People are going to blame the defense, but that retarded 4th down call and complete lack of focus killed us. And so much for calling push offs more. I bet the hawks could hand off to a ref for a score if they needed to in that venue.

Chist McCarthy pull Rodgers before they give him a concussion too, you jackass.
Its ok bro, most teams come out looking flat/lacking focus against Sea, in Sea.
I wonder how all the analysts that picked GB to win the superbowl this year are feeling now.
They were playing the defending super bowl champs in their house. The defending Super Bowl champion is 30-13-1 (.693 W Pct) in season openers. The last time a defending Super Bowl champion lost a season opener was in 1999. I think green bay will be ok.

Apparently too good to throw at actually.

Yeah Sherman is a beast, they were saying last night they film him yawning all the time because teams refuse to throw anywhere near him.

All those fantasy experts who said lynch was done are probably editing out thier columns... He looked great last night. The whole team did. But my eagles will be too much for that D! Can't wait for that game.

You mean at home, of course, since they made the Ravens play in Denver last year.

It's pretty easy when he only plays on one side so you don't ever have to have him on your best receivers if you don't want to.

Well I guess I fast forwarded at the right times then. You guys should really try the DVR football thing. There is max 2 hours worth of stuff that anyone would want to watch in a 4 hour football game.
They even had a dumbass skit where they had a greenbay helmet and their sideline hoe talking into the helmet to show how omg loud it was. 12th man represent! XD!

My question is.. how in the FUCK is Aaron Rodgers gonna act like he is one of the best and he wont even try to throw against Sherman. Its not like the Packers don't have receivers that can't make catches against Sherman especially with Rodgers throwing to them. As a huge Seahawks fan I loved they didn't use half the field, but it made me scratch my head. Because while Sherman is good, he is beatable.

That was fucking retarded. I think I could have done that experiment in a library and the helmet headset would have sounded just as shitty.

Great quarterbacks don't do things that lowers their chances of being succesfull on a play just to prove something.

So Brady, Manning, Brees aren't great? Cause they have all gone after Sherman. He wins some, but he also gets beat too.

After throwing away from Sherman for 3 quarters, I would have thrown at least one deep one his way in the 4th just to make sure he was paying attention.

It kind of reminds me of Asomugha. He got this reputation for being a shutdown corner and so people stopped throwing his direction, which only furthered his reputation. Then we realized he wasn't really that good. The same thing kind of happened with Revis.

I don't buy that Sherman is that good. And I think playing scared against him is the first step in coming out of a game with a loss.

Sherman put up pretty damn good numbers before he got the notoriety that he has now.

If Sherman wont move, then he gets stuck covering the teams #3 receiver.

That was kind of my point. Revis and Asomugha put up good numbers at first too. Then people stopped throwing in their directions and they became legendary status. It didn't take long after that though (mostly because they went to different teams) before it looked like that hype was pretty overblown.

I remember Sherman quite a bit from the 2012 season and he was considered a good corner, but nothing like now where people seem scared of him.

I thought neutralizing him with a 3rd WR was pretty smart.
