There are tons of Mexicans in and around DC, and they're all Cowboys fans, too. One Mexican girl was telling me how back in her village in Mexico they show Cowboys games at the local movie theater, and the whole village shows up to watch them.

I wouldn't really call the type of black people in DC assholes. I think there's a specific controversial word that will get me banned for them.

Whichever team in the division is doing best is the one we generally hate the most that year, though all 3 of them could have their planes crash and I wouldn't give a fuck....provided Dan Snyder doesn't die in the crash.

I haven't really been into the rivalry in a long time, it's not really "Dallas week" right now....it's "can we stop looking like the worst team in football" week. Same as last week!

Plus, with their single playoff win since 1996 I don't really understand where the energy to hate Dallas still comes from. We're supposed to get excited to play another irrelevant club living in the past year after year? You look at teams like Baltimore and Pittsburgh who have both won recent Super Bowls and played a ton of games that matter. That's how you get a good rivalry.

Although this year Dallas looks really good and maybe we should get hyped about spoiling home field for them or something. Woohoo?

The Redskins have been terrible for the majority of my life so I don't really care about them. Fuck the Eagles though, especially ruining Michael Irvin's career. And fuck the Giants because that is something we can all agree upon.

I'm still not convinced about the cowboys this year. The offensive line is playing amazing, some of the best upfront play I've seen in years, but the defense hasn't been tested yet. The Seattle win was more impressive before Seattle lost to the Rams the next week, Seattle can't spread the field worth shit. The only likely playoff team they have played they lost too in week one. I think we will know what kind of team this is after they face Arizona and Philadelphia twice, I don't know if this team is built to play from behind. On paper Dallas matches up terribly with Indianapolis and Denver right now.

If they stay healthy then they're definitely the favorites in the NFC. Teams are just beat the fuck up by the 4th quarter and have nothing left.

Within the 67 counties in Florida, there are 12 different ?most popular? teams. They include the Dolphins, Bucs, Jags, Saints, Cowboys, Packers, Bears, Falcons, Patriots, Seahawks, Chiefs (really, Sumter County?) and Broncos.

I am just glad we have no cowboys fans in Louisiana since clearly they didn't survey here. We don't have counties....but seriously most people get crucified on the spot if they aren't bashing the cowboys or falcons when they say their name down here.

The most exciting highlight of the Steelers season so far.

Daniel McCullers, the 6'8" giant monster project, got some play time at NT and HE ACTUALLY GOT PRESSURE AND ABSORBED BLOCKS!!!!!!!!

God I hope he can find a way to do that reliably, that position has been a huge liability since Big Snack got old.

Rivalries only really work when both teams are good. No one cared about SF vs. Seattle games until like 3 years ago. Bears-Packers and Steelers-Ravens get a lot of talk but unless both teams are at least superbowl contenders the games are just another game.

Those rivalries still matter in those cities. Denver vs Oakland still matters. At least here in town. It isn't as fun since the Raiders suck so bad, but there is still a serious anti Raider sentiment. Fucking way too many California transplants in Colorado. Those fuckers dominate Nugget and Rockies games, cause those Cali teams actually matter. Gotta stick it to them when we can and when it actually matters.

If only they had sent more than 4 to take advantage of the way that dude just bulled through the line.
