In the same time frame Roethlisberger has a 122 QB rating. This season he has 30 less attempts and about 35 less yards. I'm not sure what your point is.

The Seahawks will be fine, and I would be shocked if they don't make the playoffs. They are about to be handed their first win as Chicago is coming for a visit. Shit, they most likely are about to rattle off 5 or 6 wins in a row. Chicago at home, @Detroit, @Cincinnati, Panthers at home, @SF, and then visit a Romoless Cowboys. They could easily be 6-2 before their next real test against Arizona. Maybe the Bengals give them a tough time, but I doubt it.

Yeah no surprise there. Should have spent all that money on some O-Line talent instead of Donkey Kong. Of course part of this is tied to Philbin. He presided over the dismantling of the Green Bay line when they were trying to get Favre killed at the tail end of his career so he would leave. Tanehill is nowhere near as durable as Favre, though, so I would be very worried as a Fins fan. With Philbin you are getting the very worst aspects of Mike McFatty, but without Rodgers or Favre to prop him up. That Suh trade was a bust and the guy is poison.

Losing to the fucking Jags, though.... That's gotta hurt.

Re: Hawks
That game could have gone much worse for them if Lacy had not gone out or the guy who grabbed the ref had gotten tossed. The biggest issue I see with the Roidhawks is that people seem to have figured out Lynch this year and Wilson has to actually throw to win (or Lynch has laid down after getting his money). I also think the Sherman mystique is over, with him getting multiple penalties and burned for scores by receivers picked up off the waiver wire. I said it last year, but I think its worth repeating that the combination of that SB loss and the internal greed with all the selective paydays was going to have a corrosive effect on an already largely undisciplined team, and I think we saw some of that last night especial in the line play. Fortunately for them, they have probably one of the most favorable schedules for the next month and Palmer should be injured by the time they actually have to play a good team again. Playing the Bears is the best medicine for an ailing team.

Re: Eagles
Is anyone seriously shocked? Kelly is acting like college crap is going to work in the NFL and that pre season games actually matter. Now that the regular season has begun and opposing Defenses actually give a shit, the Frankenstein team is coming apart at the seams. Thank you Eagle front office for letting Kelly trash the team's future for our entertainment, but for fucks sake the offense was not what needed adjustment. One more week like this and they officially become the new Raiders.

Ah the ol' pencil in a win for the 0-2 team vs the 2-0 team that just is off beating an AFC playoff contender and completely dismantling the team (Raiders) who just beat everyone's AFC darling the Ravens

Normal Pats fan. Hoists Brady up. Realizes maybe he isn't god, resorts to calling someone a retard. Good Job! Also, been in the thread before, welcome to life.

There was some fag at the bar I was at yesterday wearing a Browns shirt and watching/cheering for the NE game. I wanted to throat punch the retard.

Depending on results of tonight's game, Redskins might end the week with #1 defense and rushing offense in the NFL. Jets could overtake them in rushing if they go for about 200 on the ground tonight. Obviously we're talking only 2 weeks here but that's light years better than we've been the past 2 years. We'll come back towards the pack some but if we can be in the top half of the league in both of those categories my hopes for a 7-9/8-8 season instead of another 4-12 debacle don't seem as crazy.

Fair point. I guess I am just so used to the Bengals losing that I automatically dismiss them. I forget that they have been really good during the regular season for the last few years.

Don't get me wrong here, I will for sure be pulling for the Bengals. Only thing I like seeing more than the 49ers winning (which won't be happening much this year!) is seeing the Seahawks lose. I can't wait until Seattle is mediocre again and all of their fake 12th man fans disappear.

Im guessing the Eagles make the playoffs seeing how bad that division is now with the Dallas injuries
Yeah I was thinking Giants were the most likely just because someone from the east is going to make it. But the eagles are a possibility if that hurry up shit ever starts working. Frankly, I see it winding up like the run and shoot of the oilers. With the defensive coordinator punching the offensive coordinator on the sideline after another 3 and out that took 15 seconds off the clock.

As a cowboy fan, my best hope right now is that weeden can keep the wheels on long enough to win the division and sneak into the playoffs, when romo will come back and finish it off. But it's a frail hope because I remember what weeden did against the cardinals last year. He had a much better run game back then to back him up.

The same asshole thought the US was going to "invade" Texas. His opinion on anything is highly suspect.

They'll sign someone but it will probably be someone that was at camp with them.

Just saying I called this about .5 seconds after Romo went down and walked off the field.

To be fair, if I was a Browns fan I would be cheering for anyone in the world who had a chance at winning because, well, the Browns.
