Isn't having like 10 different baby mamas one of the reasons so many of these athletes go flat broke?

Yeah, give it up for Rivers. That vagoo has to be more penetrated than the gaps in his O-line, but the dude keeps hitting the same opening like a pro.

Absolutely, a baby is a percentage of salary cost. a Bentley is an one-time purchase & equity.

Pay 500k to 1.5 mill over your career to 5 baby mamas each ... 6-7 mill?

Buying 3 new bentleys... 1.5 mill? add 2 mansions... 6-7 mill.

First guy can't afford a home, second guy bought 3 bentleys and a waterfront miami mansion. thats equity.

I, on the other hand, became a Rams fan in the Eric Dickerson days so fuck St Louis, they stole our team first.

(But I don't live in LA anymore so don't really give a shit where they play outside of fuck waking up at 10am every fucking Sunday to watch the Lambs.)

Loved Eric Dickerson, even when he destroyed the Chiefs. Beautiful runner, no homo.

I grew up with the Rams and Raiders playing about 50 miles from my house. When they left so did my loyalty! That's when I broke from the family and became a Charger fan.

Ugh, proof that traumatic events really do unimaginable damage even years later. There's counseling for that shit, bro.

You guys really remind me of the difficulty of being a native St. Louisan and a Rams fan.

We stole them from LA. They aren't really 'ours'. Just like I still feel like Arizona has my real childhood team.

It's interesting to think that the fleeting, fickle, slutty nature of the NFL Rams has made us here in STL all the more insanely devoted to the Cardinals. They are one of the OG teams of the oldest of the Big 4 American sports. And they are still here and they still win (more often than not). The Rams would have to be the Packers or the Steelers to compete with that. Actually, if the Rams had stayed in LA and stayed as a staple team, they would bealmoston the level of the Packers and the Steelers. Not quite the legacy I grant you. But I hope at least my point is made.

St. Louis is a homewrecker and the Rams are a hot promiscuous spouse. God damn it, Rerolled.

What do Cleveland fans make of their team?

But that's different though, because although the current Browns are the second team that that city has had, just like us, theirs is a new expansion team that was even given the name it was as a direct homage to the people of Cleveland. The name of the Rams isn't tied to St. Louis the way the name of the Browns is tied to Cleveland. The Rams just sleep in our bed. I guess they're just going home?

Witness me to Valhalla brothers, the day I sadly resigned myself to the fact that we here are probably losing the Rams. I was a denier before, but I think I no longer am. Checkmate Kronkie. Assface.

I've been drinking so I deny everything.

Been thinking about tomorrow night's game all day. Hard to temper expectations but I keep getting worked up about the possibility of beating NE in Foxborough. I know that isn't going to happen but I think Miami can make a respectable showing of it, and it's the closest we have been in a good while:

- NE has allowed 10 sacks in the last 3 games. Miami needs to get an interior pass rush, and can get pressure with just 4, but...

- Miami has 50/50 weakness on defense: LBs are good vs the run, below average on pass coverage. Reshad Jones is playing at a pro bowl level, but free safety Michaels is not great. Brent Grimes can hold his own, but Jamar Taylor could have a long night. NE will probably have a lot of 2 TE sets, quick passes, screens, and go no huddle to negate Miami's strength at pass rush.

- Miami might not be able to stop NE, but their offense is no slouch either. Between Lamar Miller, Jarvis Landry, Davante Parker, Rishard Matthews, Jordan Cameron, and Kenny Stills...this could be a high scoring game.

- A jets fan noted that last week NE's O-line comitted a lot of holding penalties, which is classic Belichick gamesmanship: Hold every play and eventually the refs stop calling it. Not really complaining since I didn't see the game, but something like this would not surprise me.

- Miami does not have a coaching edge, but does have a little element of surprise. With recent offensive production, Tannehill playing well, and the coaching change, there is the random element of what Miami might try. Dan Campbell is like the backup QB making his first start: nobody has film on him and Miami didn't have to dig very deep when blowing out Tennessee and Houston.

- Miami's starters are rested since they led 41-0 at halftime last week, while NE just played a tough game vs. the Jets. Only LB Chris McCain is questionable, everyone is probable or healthy. Small advantage but very needed.

- Brady will get hit while dropping back on 3rd down and lobby for a roughing the passer call and get it. They will score on that drive.

- Tannehill is better than Fitzpatrick.

One of the most exciting primetime games of the year, but Miami will not have enough to pull off an upset, and everyone who wants the Patriots to lose (literally everyone but Pats fans) will have to wait another week (but I hope I'm wrong! )

NE wins 37-34.
