Freeman has missed two games and is still the leading Rusher. He has an outside chance at breaking 2000 yards. He has 700 yards in 6 starts. With 8 more to go he will be probably in the top 20 rushing seasons of all time and he missed two games. I think his name should at least be in the conversation.

I realize you can't base a season or a match up on a week 1 game. Brady had more pass TD's but let's be honest here, the Steelers absolutely blew the coverage on two of those. If you don't have anyone covering Gronk, not a zone but just no one there, he is going to score. The defense played at the retard level for several plays that game. All I was saying was that I think the race between those two is closer then all the stats show.

The hit yesterday was very clean, especially when comparing it to the one Tate put on Lee. Stop whining.

I didn't see much of the chargers game but they had 12 players leave the game with injuries, that's crazy.

If he puts up 2000 yards with 14 games, that'll put him with only OJ Simpson in the history of the NFL.

Yeah, it's an outside chance but the way he is playing it's possible. Even if he doesn't do it, he will be really close to that 1800 mark which puts him in the top 20 seasons of all time.

Doubting it happens. Freeman certainly is ruining fantasy football all by himself currently, but if Matt Ryan continues to get worse as the season progresses, teams will be able to focus more and more on stopping Freeman.

what went down? Dez said he didnt say anything.
There is a vine of him floating around with him saying after the hit "Thats what he fucking gets". Dez claims he didn't say that in regards to Lockette getting hurt. I think he was trying to hint that he said it about the scuffle that went on after the hit when both benches cleared and were on field.

Even your own team said Dez didnt say shit about lock

Even in the moment it was stupid to make assumptions about who Bryant was talking to or what he was saying, but these tweets looked even worse after the game, when Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin explained that Bryant was yelling at the referees:
Bruce Irvin ? @BIrvin_WVU11
Dez was talking to the officials the whole time never said anything about lock

The one Tate put on Lee looked legal to me, too. For fucks sake, they aren't playing tiddlywinks out there.

Shit, just realized Every tough Broncos game is at home. NE, Bengals, Oakland are the only difficult teams left and they are all at mile high

Still cant believe we are leading the AFC south with a loss and possibly make it to the playoff with this team. Should be fun watching the panthers rape us tonight

Denver is playing Great defense, couple of things the packers do with their offense - helped Denver- lack of bunch formations, lack of rub routes plus denver played M2M all night for the entire play- no handoffs. the issue- if it becomes "battle of the undefeated" denver vs Patriots, can brady make the passes fast enough vs the denver d coverage/pressure. i think he can personally

closest stat i can find easily is from last year and of the 582 passes he made 62% of them were under 2.5 seconds 33% of them under 2 seconds.
rodgers 36% under 2.5 seconds 15% over 3.6 seconds
i am not sure about the 2.5-3.0 and the 3.1-3.5 split (49% of his passes) due to them not actually LISTING his stats for that time range on profootballfocus's chart from last year.

but going from last year' stats combining nfl.com stats with these numbers -
brady had 582 pass attempts 360 of them were under 2.5 seconds,
Rodgers 520 pass attempts 187 of them were under 2.5 seconds.

Rodgers "sweet spot time" for passes SEEMS to be in the 2.6-3.5 range (half his passes)
while brady's "sweet spot time" is the under 2.5 second range

brady getting the pass off faster = less chance of a sack= success...

damn i went off on a tangent there.

Claims the pack will go 15-1 this year, then after they lose says he knew they were overrated.
These are not contradictory statements, though I said 14-2 was the likely result. I originally expected to lose this game (just not look like the Texans while doing it) and either the Raiders or Panthers game. The entire rest of our schedule is our shithole division. Vikings will make a wild card, but this is a team that struggled to put away the bears at home and got blown out by the 49ers. We won't lose to that team.

What we saw last night is the result of 20 years of not attempting to get any good linebackers (I think Paup was our last pro bowl one?) and our shitty game planning assuming that Rodgers could just do his usual audible at the line routine against a good D in a hostile environment. Rivers exposed how bad our LBs are (why do you think we move Mathews around so much?) and Pey Pey took that and ran with it. Meanwhile, we struggled to execute basic offense because McFatty was probably busy choking down BK Halloween burgers when he should have been game planning silent snap offense the last two weeks. We were (as usual this time of year and always after a bye) completely unprepared and out coached this game. Meanwhile, Kubiak and Elway had there guys ready to play and armed with a solid game plan. End result is what we saw.

We have needed to tap into this cap space we always have to add a LB or two for quite a while. A shutdown corner would not hurt either, but we could have kept Woodson who is leading the league in picks and still going to the pro bowl regularly on the fucking Raiders squad. GB is basically a mediocre to poor coach with a decent (on the offensive side) drafting front office that gets propped up by having a HoF QB. I mean, between Rodgers and Favre, we have had basically two decades of uninterrupted elite level QB play, but complacency has only nabbed two championships in that time, and frankly we were extremely lucky to get the last one. You put this team in the hands of a coach like Bellicheat or one of the Harbros, with a front office that actually tries to fill gaps in the D? Maybe we don't go dynasty, but you sure don't see a flat wet shit like last night. Talent level is there in most places, but having a great QB and a cakewalk division has made our front office and coaches lazy as shit. Just look at what happened to Philbin when he had to go to Miami.

Again, don't mind that we lost. I expected it, in fact. We have already faced a couple good defenses this season, just not on the road where Rodgers can count on making play calls at the line and hardcount. What I do mind is the complete lack of game plan and motivation (followed by no half time adjustments) in these post bye or trap games. Say what you want about the Evil Empire in NE and the Roidhawks, but they are god damn ready to play every week. This is also why Denver dumped Fox, because he would do this same shit. Kubiak might not be the best coach out there, but motivation is not one of his shortcomings and it showed in every aspect of their game last night. Bravo to them. Meanwhile, we will likely be surprise knocked out at home by a 8-8 division winning Giants team (again) because we will be napping then, too. So really, it does not matter if we are 15-1 at this point. If McFatty cannot get his motivation issues unfucked (along with clock management and halftime adjustments), we won't be winning another SB under his tenure.
