I'm pretty sure it isn't the NFL keeping Blackmon down. Its Blackmon keeping Blackmon down.Crazy they have Blackmon too. If the NFL ever let's him play again.

Except Tate had two feet down and control, got stripped, the ball never hit the ground and the opposing team got possession of it...but that was all blown dead and called a TD. I actually agree with you, by the book neither one was a catch (although the book rule is arguably stupid itself) but how the fuck did one crew give Tate the TD? That's the problem, the refs took it in their own hands and diverged from the actual rules in one case. He's not saying they should have called OBJ complete, he said that its a total inconsistency.I dont think so, but the actual rule does. Hold onto the ball all the way through the catch or to the ground. I don't see how it could possibly be MORE out of the refs hands as is. Don't drop the ball.
Nah the NFCE is 100% up for grabs. Det and SF are likely done, Saints and Bucs are probably done barring something insane. Anyone else, even Dallas thanks to that shitbag division, are potentially in it.I think we can but I am not sure, not a hard thing to come to grips with!
How funny, this article literally says the same thing.I'm pretty sure it isn't the NFL keeping Blackmon down. Its Blackmon keeping Blackmon down.
Watch your fucking tongue, pleb. Blaine train is coming in fast to 10-6 station. Choo choo motherfucker, choo choo.SF are likely done
Ok paper bag man, I'll see you guys at your place in our superbowl rematch then since we are being super optimists.Watch your fucking tongue, pleb. Blaine train is coming in fast to 10-6 station. Choo choo motherfucker, choo choo.
Did you leave the Lions out because its just assumed they're hopeless? So who all is out of the playoffs already?
Ravens
Browns
Chargers
Jaguars
Titans
Cowboys
49'ers
Those are all around 2-7
I think we can eliminate these guys also.
Rams
Bears
Eagles
Dolphins
The ones I am not sure about are:
Raiders vs the Chiefs
Jets vs the Bills
Colts vs the Texans
Redskins vs the Eagles
Buccaneers vs the Saints
Nah, really don't think they're sitting there watching every player be completely in their set position on those hurry up plays. I'm sure if you slowed down all of those plays you could find something to flag more often than not. In this case the tight end was setting up behind the line of scrimmage, which if I'm not mistaken you're allowed to be in motion as long as your motion isn't forward towards the line of scrimmage at the snap. None of it had any effect on the play itself, it's just a 2-7 team complaining enough to get the league to throw them a bone by saying "yeah, by the book we could have found something to flag here". Only thing that lost that game was Dumervil being an idiot. You're crazy. 9/10 times that gets called. Also, not sure what you mean about the TE not being subject to the same rules of motion or how it even relates to this play.
Not sure why it's Redskins versus Eagles, are you kind of assuming the Giants WILL be there (involved in the hunt for division lead) all the way through and are basically only expecting one of Skins/Eagles to challenge? If so I kind of buy it. I could see it being a total shitshow with all 3 of those teams involved in the race for a couple more weeks still. My wildest optimism has the Skins possibly going 4-3 the rest of the way to end up 8-8 though, so I think we're a bit of a long shot. But everyone else sucks so who knows. Skins have the potential for the best division record at 1-1 with 4 games remaining, although losing again to the Giants would give them the head to head tiebreaker over us, and we have to play Dallas twice with Romo back.So who all is out of the playoffs already?

Yes on the Skins/Eagles, I think only one of them will even put any effort up. It is a total shitshow but I think the Giants have enough momentum they are the top of the shitshow there. Not sure why it's Redskins versus Eagles, are you kind of assuming the Giants WILL be there (involved in the hunt for division lead) all the way through and are basically only expecting one of Skins/Eagles to challenge? Also as good as the Denver defense is, if they score nothing, I'm not completely convinced that division isn't still in play. 3 games is a large gap with 7 to go, but I don't think it's a complete lock anymore.
Gotcha. As far as the AFC West, only reason I give those teams a shot is they've both only played 2 division games (both 1-1), while the Broncos are at 2-1 in the division. Raiders would need to win next meeting to prevent head to head tiebreaker, but I think it's doable with Manning out/or shitty. Chiefs already have a split with the Broncos (really odd they've played Broncos twice and neither Chargers or Raiders at all yet).Yes on the Skins/Eagles, I think only one of them will even put any effort up. I am not convinced the Raiders or the Chiefs are going to put the necessary pressure on Denver, it comes from being invested in that division.
Not saying they're going to the playoffs, but oddly, the Bucs are 2 games out from the last wild card spot and have games against other teams vying for that spot, including Atlanta, who they beat in ATL and are playing them at home. Its a long shot, but I've seen crazier shit happenBucs are probably done barring something insane.
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Famm again.Except Tate had two feet down and control, got stripped, the ball never hit the ground and the opposing team got possession of it...but that was all blown dead and called a TD. I've been okay with 3 out of 4. Jags' unis look terrible. What's been up with the uniforms on TNF? All these one-color uniforms.
That division, much like the NFC East, is completely up for grabs. For two teams that are "cellar dwellers", they are playing some good ball tonight.
ODB was in the endzone for the entire catch. There he has to maintain control the entire time. Tate caught it, had control, broke the plane. After he breaks the plane with control he can fucking chuck it through the uprights and it's a TD. The most important part is where the receiver was for the actual catch. Otherwise people in the endzone would just have to have the ball for 0.25 seconds to be called a TD. If they have control through breaking the plane it's a TD. Some big honkey dude did it last week where he basically dropped the ball 2 inches past the plane and it was a TD because he had control until that point.Except Tate had two feet down and control, got stripped, the ball never hit the ground and the opposing team got possession of it...but that was all blown dead and called a TD.
