AB is great, but he isnt miles ahead of the other elite 2 or 3 WRs. I think a big reason for his success is the QB. Thats not a knock, Jerry Rice wouldnt have been Jerry Rice without Montana. You need the right style QB who can take advantage of your skill set. Big Ben is perfect for AB for his ability to extend plays and allow AB to get open. They sync well. OBJ could probably produce the same results as AB on the Steelers given a couple years to season.

I'd definitely put him in top 10, just think the MVP talk is crazy. Definitely below Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Rivers, and Palmer. Then there's a mess of QBs rounding out the top 10 that a case could be made for in any real order
id have said the same thing before his 5 TD game a few weeks ago and then the laser beam to make it 41-38 yesterday was insane

That's really not entirely accurate. Yes, it was good that he had Montana and Young throwing to him, but Rice elevated the play of his QB's as well. I mean shit, look what he did when he went to Oakland in his late 30's (37 maybe?) and caught 83, 92, and 63 passes over the next 3 years with Rich Gannon throwing to him. Go ahead and let me know how many great years at QB Gannon had when he didn't have Rice as a receiver.

EDIT: But to your point, there is something to be said about AB not having Big Ben throwing to him. Look at how much his production dropped when he had Vick and Landry in there

I know the regular season is mostly over but I am done even turning a San Diego game on. Such an embarrassment in every way. Just not worth watching, if they had games even close then maybe.

You're crazy. Watching Rivers reaction throughout the game, good or bad, is well worth it!

I"m glad I haven't taken too much interest in the Bears this year figuring they were going to be terrible as I would be pretty crushed today otherwise. They somehow turned out to be mediocre with a shot at the playoffs if they didn't blow some pretty winnable games against the Vikings, Lions and now this terrible one against Gabbert who is terrible. Would have been just better to tank like it seemed they were going to do after week 2 to try to get Cutler's replacement, oh well...

The Browns are such a shit show. Most people who don't live in Ohio probably don't know that the Browns front office always heralded that their starting 22 weren't the best but their 23-52 could compete with anyone out there. Well injuries hit and the team looks like an absolute dumpster fire. The coach is more concerned with putting JFF in timeout to think about what he's done instead of winning football games. I don't see how the entire staff doesn't get overhauled in the offseason. God that is a pathetic product they put on the field yesterday.

Whats funny is the Browns fans are jerking off Bosa for the #1 pick. Just what they need another high pick non-skill position player.

We're getting a Top 3 pick. There's no doubt about it. Hell right now we're getting the #1 pick. And there's enough consensus out there that they might even get the pick right. But a #1 Draft pick isn't going to make the Browns team better. The whole organization needs to be burned to the ground and rebuilt. The owner gives zero shits about the team. In fact most speculate that he's pissed because he wanted to own the Titans (another winner) since he's from Tennessee. And stay out of jail. He also wants to stay out of jail. Our head coach is outclassed week after week and is openly mocked because he was brought in as a "defensive minded guy." Finally the GM has screwed up draft pick after draft pick.

The fans that annoy me the most are the ones who think that if we played Johnny Football that the team will magically turn around. Even if he was God of QBs there isn't enough talent around him to do anything. Put Aaron Rogers, Peyton Manning or Tom Brady at the QB position and we'd still be losing every week. QB might be the most important position and the team leader but the best QB in the world isn't going to succeed when the rest of the team lacks talent and refuses to buy into the game.

Right now there's a lot of fan theories that players are milking injures just to get out of playing games. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if that were true.

Austin played pretty decent yesterday. The problem is the Bengals front 4 was getting penetration at will. Dude had no time to make more than one read before he had to take off. Which possibly you could argue Manziel would be more dangerous in bootlegging situations but, honestly, seeing Manziel in the first Bengals game he looked like utter shit bootlegging as well.

No, take it from me that's worse. You could be watching a terrible team that's close every week and is still going to lose 10+ games this year.

I hope we don't bench Schaub before he gets a chance to tie or beat his pick six streak record.

Blaine Gabbert showed some life out there with that td run. That Bears db who got shook off a tiny cut should be ashamed of himself. And Robbie Gould should feel even worse.

That deep ball was a thing of beauty too. I hate to say it but i think Keapernick loses that game.

Entitled frontrunning jackasses!

Patriots Fans Boo At Halftime Of Tie Game, Embarrass Entire Fanbase CBS Boston

"I paid a lot of money for this, it's my right to boo!" I would never say you have no right to boo, do whatever you want. But I also have the right to say you're ungrateful and entitled and don't deserve to root for the Patriots. Fans in Cleveland, Jacksonville, and yes even Philadelphia, pay a lot of money to watch their teams fail year after year. And I don't think even they would boo a tie game.

Yesterday's behavior by that segment of Patriots fans showed why everyone outside of New England hates the Patriots. Even those who admit how great this team has been under Brady & Belichick would say they still despise the fans, and yesterday only proved their point. This team has built up way too much credit to get booed at halftime of a tie game, let alone booed at all.
