I actually watched this season, trust me I'm not worried about the Redskins.

I'm more worried about the Giants if anything especially if they get someone like Sean up there.
Yeah, but how much longer does Eli really have?

Plus they used to be a heavy defense team, and that's not really the case anymore.

What you really mean is you're most worried about the Cowboys.

Who cares whether it was a fumble? Just end it...

People confusing the Redskins as being good, when in reality they were just the least shitty NFC East team
This. Which is why I'm happy even getting bounced from the playoffs. Just getting there was way better than they probably should have been.

I don't think anyone is saying they are the next team to beat but I think they found a QB and that the base for all successful teams to build on.

Tough game. Literally got no pressure on Rodgers outside of the safety to start the game. D let us down today, but they'd been living off the turnovers they were generating and sacks over this run...we generated neither today really. Packers got to Cousins a lot, and could actually run the ball. Rodgers looked pretty good too after the 1st quarter. Disappointing but the better team won. Good experience for the team, and we didn't embarrass ourselves (save for maybe Desean Jackson early).

Need another good offseason and draft to plug some holes, get Cousins signed. He looked pretty good today, maybe a little average in the 2nd half missing some throws but they were killing our O line. Thought we might be back in it when he ran it in start of the 2nd half to put us up 18-17, but D could never get off the field. Excited for next year.

More like you got extremely lucky the NFC east was in complete turmoil.
I guess next year will be a good litmus test for that. I don't think we were fortunate to be around .500 this year, we were just fortunate that the division was so terrible that 9-7 was good enough to win it. Next year will be tough as shit with our schedule, so we'll see where everyone is at then. Each team in the division has won it twice in the last 8 years (very weird stat).

NFC east is the Jeff Fisher of divisions.

It definitely has been. I don't expect us to repeat with that schedule and with Dallas getting healthy. Goal should be 8-8 or better again, and hopefully playoffs. If we can get back to the postseason for a 2nd year in a row it'll be a big step out of terribleness for us.

Just got home from the Skins game. Was tons of fun, tailgate and inside the stadium the crowd was awesome. until the air really went out of the stadium after the last GB TD. was obvious most people wanted to leave then, very little noise..

Still had a great time. A+. will go to the skins playoff games next year
