Steelers are such a shit show on both sides of the ball.
Heh.

For non-retards. I just have to hope that no other teams have TE's that can exploit our horrible D that way. The underneath shit to Edelman was annoying, but it gets shutdown eventually. There wasNOanswer for Gronk. Which was obviously partially physical. But much more so schematic. How the fuck did he end up UNCOVERED on multiple plays? And covered by the slowest LB alone on others, with no safety help? That was a fucking mess. They handle Gronk remotely well and this is a pick 'em game. But they give the Pats that kind of freedom to use him? Should have lost by 40.

Last drive was embarrassing. 2 minutes and you do 10 straight short routes over the middle? The TD helped me enormously in fantasy, but the play-calling was fucking pathetic. It felt less like shitty clock management and more like giving the fuck up.

Ya it was like a fantasy stats drive. Terrible from a winning the game perspective but good from a racking up stats pov.

I think the one takeaway should be that neither team looked close to dominate and the AFC is wide open.

Yeah sort of curious how both teams play against better defenses. In fairness it's week 1 and teams are going to be somewhat shitty in general.

Well you'll find that out for NE next week when they face one of the best defenses in the league.

The achilles heel of cover 2 is a good TE up the middle/draws up the middle....and we stuck with it the entire game.....what the fuck indeed. Collinsworth repeatedly mentioned it too. He wasnt even really accounted for in either td, fucking retarded defense.

I still can't believe the Pittsburgh receiver stepped out of bounds on the wide open TD. If he doesn't flake out and catches that in bounds it's a different game. Not covering the patriots main receiving threat is also a nice touch. I don't know how you can miss gronk and not see where he lines up. Pats defense was pretty porous they better score a lot of points this year on offense.

No it was worse' he was in bounds UNTIL he went down for the ball ' then he rolled/slid his foot out of bounds upon finishing the kneel &catching the ball. Shoulda have been a TD.

Whew, what an ugly game. Steelers better have the same explosive offense from last year because that defense is going to lose lots of games if not. Brady was dominant and some new guy named Gronkowski? looks like he may be a star at some point. Steelers must not have heard of him yet.
