HAH FINALLY NICK SABAN WAS RIGHT!

Fucking kill yourself Saban. Put a shotgun in your mouth and if your stubby little arms can reach the trigger, pull it.

Yeah that is one of the dumbest statements ever made in the NFL thread, Ambiturner. And that is really saying something.
He said a week ago that their D, once they get a few people back, will rival the 01 Ravens. I thought that was pretty out there, personally..

For whoever directed the Murray comment at me, I still beleive him. I love his fire and desire to be in the game trying to make a difference. We lack leadership and he's slowly embracing that role.

Chip's presser stunk. If this blows up he needs to be shit canned this year. Why didn't we just hire Arians!

And they say Malcolm Butler had a bad game.... pshhh covering the best receiver in the game.
Really hard to argue against that at the moment.

Re: Cowboys upcoming schedule: Imma go Garrett on this and focus on just this week. I think they beat the Falcons.

We have 7 games until Romo is expected back. Realistically, I see 4-3 or 3-4 during that stretch.

I think that is a realistic expectation. The only game that is a toss up, in my mind, is the Falcons next week. And really, 6-3 with 4ish division wins is not a bad place to be in week nine, especially in the NFCLeast.

Their season certainly isn't over but I don't think they have a shot in hell of beating the falcons, Pats or hawks. Saints are going to turn it around as well and win some games so a weak Dallas is a good place to start. Giants are the same. I can easily see them losing all those games. I certainly wouldn't be betting for them to win them.

It's funny, I picked up on that during the game yesterday. If I notice it, you know the coaches and scouts dedicated to that shit all around the league noticed it too a long long time ago.

hapless eagles.
I just like it anytime the eagles are described as hapless. Makes me feel all warm inside.

Ha. Obviously I meant best team they've had with Romo
If it makes you feel better, I thought you meant 'around romo'. Mainly because we were talking about the romoless cowboys and I figured you're feeling his window closing just like I am. When it was pointed out I had to go back and read the original post to see that you hadn't said that.

Does NO win without Brees though? They have Luke McCown as their backup and behind him is a rookie. Without Brees this is an immensely winnable game for Dallas.

The Atlanta game is hard to read at the moment but it's another winnable game for Dallas. I admit to not knowing much about what Atlanta did in the offseason to help improve their team so I'm just gonna go with Vegas and call it a tossup.

No chance of beating Atlanta? They have looked anything but impressive. Basically double Julio and make Ryan actually lead the team down the field. Their defense isn't good so should be able to move the ball.

No idea why everyone's so high on Atlanta. Dallas looked much more impressive against the Giants and the Eagles than the Falcons did. If their defense was exhausted in the second half against Philly, they'll be on life support after a couple of Dallas 10 minute drives

I heard on the radio this morning that Jordan Hicks admitted to trying to hurt romo on purpose when he saw the ball pop out. Can't find a story about it now though. Anyone else hear that or got a source for it? It didn't look especially dirty to me, but if the dumbass is actually out bragging that he injured him on purpose, would/should the NFL punish him?

Atlanta is this year's Cinderella team. Once they hit some real teams, the tone will change.
