How in the fuck does every new Pats fan in the thread somehow lower the bar for how bad a fan can be? And how in the fuck are any of you dipshits engaging?
I'm not sure if I'd rather read their hot feces or go back to 24/7 Jerrah Jones cock slobbing.

I have no idea what you're even trying to say.
Not sure how to make it any simpler. You think Wilson's worth the money because he makes the playoffs. Theu only make the playoffs because of their dominant defense.
Therefore, you're saying Wilson is a worth a huge contract because their defense is so good.

So you're saying Brady had less talent on the team as a whole when he spread the ball around and no one receiver had the majority of yards?

They also had a pretty good defense those years right? Not going to look up the stats but if the argument is that he managed to lift up the team on his back and carry them into the playoffs, then that's the wrong argument. The argument should be that a good to great quarterback with a solid team around him had consistent success. A good to great QB absolutely elevates your team but it's a team sport and he can't play defense.

Ummm, the only year he didn't play they still went 11-5? Had Moss from 2007-Gronk rookie year? So two of the most dominant players ever and two of the best slot WRs ever played there but Charmin Soft-Balls carried them? They may cheat at everything they do, but Brady wasn't what carried them. Belicheat did.

Oh, and I'm not mad at Brady for being a great team player. I just hate cheaters lol
11-5, heh they must have had a decent playoff run that year too right?!

A big part of the reason for the Pats success is that they do a good job with the salary cap. They cut people before they become cost prohibitive. Brady and Gronk the obvious exceptions, but both have really team friendly contracts. )Gronk is in a 6yr 54m dollar contract that locks him up until 2020). Brady and Gronk and both top 5 NFL talents and neither is in the top 25 of highest paid NFL players. Value Talent = Wins. This stops them from becoming top heavy. They are good, not great, at all positions with solid back ups and reserves. I think in the NFL you can get 1 great player or 5 solid players for about the same price.

Also consider that the Seahawks and Pats were two of the youngest teams in the league last year. Salary cap is spread out more effectively.

Which is the model Dallas has been moving to. Primary reason they didn't sign Murray to the money he wanted.

Anyway, Schadenfreude engaged!

CB Byron Maxwell (6-yr, $64m contract offseason) has been thrown at 19x, allowed 15 comp, 240 yds, 2 TD, 158.3 (perfect) QB rating

I is such a waste of time to have these debates but people just can't resist because it's so easy to win. It's like arm wrestling a baby. Sure you win but no one is impressed and the baby doesn't even understand what's going on.

Its nice to change it up and make fun of Asterisks fans periodically, instead of Cowboy fans.

With regards to the Pats, they also during Brady's early years had a really good defense and literally no competition within their own division. Granted, they were stealing signals and fucking with communications, plus Rex snuck in a couple times with the Jets, but their D was still pretty damn good. And yeah, if Bellicheat is good at one thing it is enticing aging veterans to come play on the cheap for a ring. Didn't work out so well for Jr. Seau and a couple other player, though. Having a hall of fame QB who is willing to work for less than Cutler money because his wife is richer than he is helps a shit ton, as well. But Darth Bill has a pretty good track record of dumping people on to other teams before they cost much and is pretty strong in the Jew side of the force when it comes to negotiating deals.

I can't wait to see belicheat without Tom Brady. Wonder how long it will take for Pats fans to start calling for his head.

Keeping your team budge helps, but sometimes I think paying people is justified, but mega contracts are almost never justified (or even work out).

My opinion is lines win games. What has brady almost always had? A good to great line. He's immobile as fuck and all around an unathletic QB that is easy to sack, yet he doesn't get sacked. Why? It allows him to play the game like a total pussy, which is exactly how a QB SHOULD play the game. I'm not dissing on him or cheatercheck, they figured out football when most teams have been buying into the LETS GET A RB QB retardation.

Gotcha. That is exactly what I am saying. Wilson makes the playoffs like these mid range QB's...He also does more than that, he makes deep playoff runs and SB runs. Good TEAMS that have shitty/average QB's all the time, don't get a sniff of the SB year after year. Usually because of the QB shitting a brick at crunch time.
