I can't wait until Cruz is back. Good luck defending against a healthy Cruz and Beckham.
he was flashy for 2011 & part of 2012, but he kind of came back down to earth in 2013. he's good, but i wouldn't count on him turning a C- team into anything exciting.

What's the matter, still sour at the Giants for beating your team in the Super Bowl twice? Or have you swapped bandwagons yet?

so you went the route of shit posting, rather than just commenting on why you think im wrong about Cruz.

Cruz won't come back and make an impact. Don't believe it. That's a nasty leg injury he sustained, won't be back to form until next year if ever.

Cruz's production fell off because from 2012-2013 Hakeem Nicks production dropped off the face of the planet. Cruz is not a #1 WR which is was basically for '12 and '13. He is a slot receiver and excels when he's in that role. Imagine Wes Welker on the Pats without a Moss or any TEs.

Still nearly 1000 yards in 14 games in 2013 is still pretty good for a #2 WR.

In 2011 he was able to truly play the #2 WR and look at what he did. If Cruz is 80% of where he used to be, I can see him making a significant impact.

edit:
More stats
In 2011 he was the #4 WR in YDS, #5 in TDs
In 2012 he was the #15 WR in YDS, #7 in TDs
In 2013 he was #28 and #42. which is awful. The giants were very bad that year. The line, the running game, the defense were all bad. Cruz was the #1 WR and was double teamed almost every game. So we'll see if 2013 was an aberration or not assuming Cruz can go this year at all.

Lead dog requires special talent, which is what Beckham gives you. If what you're saying holds true then Cruz should be fine as he won't be the primary focus. Teams still can't sleep on him, any more than they would Roddy White for Atlanta, but they won't overcommit to him as much.

We'll probably see in 10 days. Cruz has some shitty calf injury though so who knows how limited he'll be if he goes at all.

Yeah, Coughlin should probably got in front of the team and told them they all were shitty football players and don't bother.

Cruz won't be shit. This team goes as far as Eli and OBJ can go, that's it.

Need some fucking talent.

0-2 teams at the start of the season rarely make the playoffs. Someone posted that stat earlier. It's over 85% or some shit.

That being said it is the Giants, and they have derped into both Superbowl runs. I don't think they have the talent tho right now like they did in those other seasons where they could lean on the defense.

Giants don't even remotely have the defensive line talent that they did in the past to make another magical run to the SB.
