Might as well fire Marvin Lewis too. Did everything he could to not have his team put the game away much earlier.Fuck Andy Dalton, fuck AJ Green, and triple fuck our terrible DC who needs to be fired immediately.
Grats Alex and Tenks, strong looking team. I sincerely hope you guys sweep Pittsburgh and win the division. Beyond that I hope you fail miserably in the playoffs. If either of you requested an avatar bet I apologize but I was out of town partying all weekend and not checking the boards. Time to drink myself to sleep before sundown.
The thing was they had to cover the tight ends who did work which left Smith available to be Steve Smith. Not enough when our D can't get off the fucking field if someone's life depended on it.Seems to be a problem around the league. How neither Cincy nor Baltimore put extra coverage on Smith and Green I'll never know either.
Shit man Marvin has deserved to be fired for years IMO but he must have criminal level dirt on their shady owner. How he's one of the most tenured HC's in the league is beyond me.Might as well fire Marvin Lewis too. Did everything he could to not have his team put the game away much earlier.
I was kidding mainly, obviously Smith is a strong guy but the amount of missed tackles on him today was hilarious. The ~50 yard TD on the 4th and 5 was just horrific. Of course Green should have been tackled about 3 separate times around the 20 on the ~70 yard TD bomb near the end as well. You go from a slower game where Cincy is dominating, to the choke portion where literally Cincy is doing all they can to leave points out on the field and keep Baltimore in it, with Baltimore getting every break imaginable to get close (fumbling on a fake punt as the only way it actually let them get the 1st down when otherwise Cincy would have gotten the ball on the 30?), to the end of the 4th quarter when suddenly neither defense could make a stop to save their lives. The thing was they had to cover the tight ends who did work which left Smith available to be Steve Smith. The only thing that is really Marino'esque is that defense. How you can make Suh look bad is impressive...in a way.tannehill just threw a dan marino'esque sidearm pass
It was all asking too much, I forgive Flacco's INT, like you said he was in a terrible position to expect him to over come hundreds of penalty yards and the D watching AJ just be the elite receiver we know he is. I'm surprisingly "ok" with our offense right now but our D is set up to do nothing well except stopping the run. Problem is that this is a passing league now so that doesn't cut it in a shootout.I was kidding mainly, obviously Smith is a strong guy but the amount of missed tackles on him today was hilarious. Honestly I thought for sure Flacco was going to drive them down again there at the end, but that face mask penalty on 4th down just killed it. 4th and 17 is just asking too much.
Damn man gotta cut deep. Yeah we won a game, but you know we'll end up giving Chip's offense their "breakout" game next week (yes, they won today, but their offense didn't do much of anything again). I do think today's game finished a lot closer than it should have for you guys, but realistically loses at Denver and to Cincy aren't terrible on the surface. I mean the teams you've faced have a combined 7-1 record (yes even the Raiders are above .500)It was all asking too much, I forgive Flacco's INT, like you said he was in a terrible position to expect him to over come hundreds of penalty yards and the D watching AJ just be the elite receiver we know he is. At least we aren't the Redskins? It might get harder to say that with a straight face soon. At least the skins have won a game.
#just jeff fisher things? I mean this team set its own field on fire trying to come out of the tunnel. What can you expect?I still can't believe we held the Steelers to 12 points and lost at home.
And all AFC teams too. They were all close and could have gone the other way with a couple of plays here and there. Still, this is a rough hole to be in after only three weeks. If Ben's done could be a boon to you guys. Heard an early rumor though that it might just be a bad MCL for him, which is still at least 2+ weeks, but if it's not ACL would be a big break for them. And all AFC teams too.
