it wasn't a false start is was an illegal formation cause the receiver didn't get set after they rushed to the line. It's a shitty way to end a game but not surprising when you have only 7 seconds to spike it.

Giving up the TD was the real killer, after that the odds of winning are almost 0, timeouts or no timeouts. 55 yd fg is low probability, one sides kick is almost 0, and then driving for a TD in 18 seconds is also almost 0. Pats played kinda like shit at the end there tho. That D was scary bad for most of the game.
