There's 9 teams that are 5-5 and 14 teams with losing records. The 9 teams with winning records only have 20 losses combined, which is pretty insane for that many teams. Handful of teams are skewing overall records by more than usual.

Well, Chip is the coach AND GM. He has all the power and look at the roster he nuked and failed to rebuild. The only reason he would want to be fired is because he was embarrassed at his own job performance.

And what coach other than Bellichick has that kind of power in the NFL even? Nobody I can think of.
