No one talks about him. Hes not even active for games. If they can't work out a deal they will franchise Kirk just to hedge their bets for another year to evaluate. I do wonder how much better this team would be if Gruden had his way and started Kirk last year.

I think RG3 genuinely likes Kirk and vice versa, for all the stuff that has been said in the media about Griffin (true or not), there's never really seemed any friction personally between those two. I also think he's smart enough to realize any other potential team/situation was going to be watching how he reacted and prepared this year with the demotion and not even being active for all but one game (when we had so many injuries were pretty much forced to have him activated). Reports about him basically say he's making no waves, no disruptions, and putting in extra work after every practice.

Look, somewhere in there I think there is talent. I'm not sure if he can realize it anymore due to injuries, and the questions about whether he can develop as a pocket passer are legitimate. Either way though, he's done here in DC. Even if he could be successful as a starter, I think the environment is just too toxic in DC for him. It's not false that the media inflates anything he does or says, good or bad. It might help if he could go somewhere where there is less media scrutiny. But given his price tag, I expected them to keep him inactive all year (unless both other guys got hurt somehow), and explore any possible trade options, but everyone else pretty much doesn't want him or knows they can just sign him to a much, much cheaper deal than that current $16M fifth year option of his rookie deal.

A JFF vs. RGIII QB controversy would make ESPN explode. Maybe they could bring in Tebow too!!
If JFF can get his shit together, I still think he's got a shot to be decent. Still, when you think about what Bridgewater and Carr have done, and knowing Cleveland could have just stood pat with their second 1st round pick at #26 and gotten either guy (instead of giving up a 3rd round pick to move up 4 spots to take Manziel), you just wonder what they're doing in Cleveland.

Still, I'd like to see what Manziel can do IF he can keep his shit together.

The Rams are just going to go full circle and sign him for nothing.
Would be kind of funny if they had that incredible haul of picks that they turned into X amount of players the only playoff appearance out of that deal would be for us in his rookie year.

Jimmy Johnson would have been in a SB by now with that haul of picks. Fisher is horrible.

Ive seen a few times people compare Manziel to Brees as far as skill set and talent. The problem is that Brees is an insanely hard worker. Manziel doesn't seem to have that work ethic.

Cleveland should definitely pick up RGIII and Colin Kaepernick and let them battle it out with Manziel next season. That would be awesome.

This would be hilarious. would have to bring in hard knocks to make it even better.

I wonder who will start more games in their NFL future; RGIII, Keaperbro, or pey pey.

So wtf is RGIII even doing nowadays? Dude dropped off the face of the football planet.

Safe to say his career is over in DC?
A game a few weeks ago I saw him in regular clothes on the sideline just watching the game. I think that's pretty much what he does every game at this point.

I almost felt bad for him, but he's loaded and getting paid to watch games. It's gotta be a bit humbling though to go from golden boy to barely on the team so fast.

I'm sure some shit franchise will over pay for him to fail there as well.
He is going to pack his bags and move a few miles north to work for the kings of overpaying failures - my boys Chip Kelly and the Eagles!

Who are still alive for the playoffs, by the way. Until they get eviscerated by Kissing Cousins.

One of the things that stood out to me when RG3 was playing was what it looked like when he got hit. I swear when someone got even a half decent run at him his body would absolutely explode. People were just running right through him. I always imagined it was what it would look like if a 190lb dude who'd never seen the weight room was hit by James Harrison.
