Ray Lewis sucked as a sportscaster. He was just plain fucking stupid. He went full fucking retard. I hoped he would bring a hardcore defensive insight/perspective but he didn't. It was like his boss said, "go out there and... and... say some fucked up shit that no one will believe to draw viewers!"

I used to think it was great having former players as sportscasters but anymore it's like wtf? So many former players suck balls as sportscasters. They can't fucking speak coherently. Ladanian Tomlinson is another one I wish they would cull from tv. He sucks ass. He speaks horribly and his great running back evaluations are don't give a fuckariffic. Take your no ring having ass off the fucking tv.

Quarterbacks and coaches are probably the only ones that stand a shot at being decent on tv because they have a higher level of understanding of the game and can actually break shit down. Now Randy Moss was a true student of the game so maybe he's better but we need don't give a fuck Randy not I'm in a stuffed suit Randy...

Why don't they get the truly whacked out players on tv like TO? Get some diva ass receivers up there that can speak and entertain. Funny thing is TO can probably still ball better than a bunch of the shitty receivers we have all over the league as #4s and #5s... I could see him interviewing some shit receiver, pull his coat off and show the guy how to run the route properly...

Edit: Cowboys fans - Romo does NOT guarantee you a playoff stpot. It's like you motherfuckers completely forgot that 3 year stretch where Romo singlehandedly lost the season finale to make the playoffs. THE SINGLE YEAR YOU MADE IT INTO THE PLAYOFFS CAME OFF 400+ CARRIERS FROM YOUR RUNNING BACK. The Cowboys ARE better with Romo but they're not playoff guaranteed better with Romo.

That 3 year stretch included historically bad defenses, no run game, and a shitty o-line. So if your point is Romo can only get you within 1 game of the playoffs if the entire rest of his team is garbage, then sure.

It was also actually his 3rd playoff appearance, not his only one, which you seem to think for some reason. I'm guessing you haven't been watching football very long.

2011 he had 4200 passing yards and 31td to 10 int. Weird that you think he's to blame for them not making the playoffs that year.

2012 they had 24th ranked D and 31st ranked rushing offense but the 3rd ranked passing offense. Once again it seems odd you say them not making the playoffs is all his fault.

It's more like he took 3-13 teams to 8-8 than trying to say he's to blame for anything

That's your interpretation, which is the EXACT opposite of what I AM saying.

ROMO DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY GUARANTEE THE COWBOYS MAKE THE PLAYOFFS. That's what I'm saying, so all those Cowboys fans dickriding the Cowboys as the NFC East Division Winners are delusional. You have a better chance WITH Romo but it's not a fucking guarantee no matter how shitty that division is.

Also... How many games has Romo LOST for the Cowboys that they were competing in? Remember that Jets game where he threw the interception RIGHT TO REVIS? Then Romo fumbled trying to run the ball into the endzone. Then there were 2 years in a row where he threw interceptions to close out the final game of the season where it was WIN AND IN OR lose and done. The 3rd year Romo just got hurt and didn't even show up so Orton could take the blame.

I am more likely to believe that Ezekiel will come into the league and run for 1600 yards this year taking the Cowboys to the playoffs than Romo will be the magic QB to get you there. If you're going to bullshit me at least TRY to do it with a plausible pile of shit.

Until the Cowboys went 12-4 on Murray's back the entire board talked shit about Romo being horrible. The ONLY Cowboys fan I can recall stating otherwise was Manowar for a while until even he gave up on Romo, until Murray took them to the playoffs.

Draegan- A big reason I'm picking the Giants is b/c how injured they were. They have a healthy team with an upgraded D. They are going to be a tough team to beat and will probably have one of the better offenses in the NFC

Nobody's saying Romo by himself = playoffs. But Romo with that O-line and a defense better than awful has a really good chance. Giants and Eagles made too many changes which never seems to workout so people are picking Cowboys and Redskins as favorites

If Cousins continues to improve instead of regress and Norman manages to play at shutdown corner levels, they have a good chance.

If Ezekiel lives up to expectations and their D finally gets some turnovers, then 12+ wins is possible.

That's exactly the way I feel about my Saints. When we had a defense better than awful and a really good o line...

The same can be said of any HoF QB on any team though. Give a HoF QB a good OL and a pretty solid defense and you get some superbowls. Brady's and Manningses superbowls all came with good to great defenses.

As a Saints fan you should understand why Cowboys fans feel confident. Right now you have one of the best QBs in the league who has very little help. If someone told you the Brees was the biggest reason they weren't a great team the last couple of years you'd think they were mildly retarded. That's Romo 2011-2013.

Now imagine Brees has one of the best O-lines ever, a decent defense, and just picked up what should be the next AP in the draft. Also imagine he plays in a shitty division where 8-8 has a good chance to win it.

That's where Cowboys fans are at right now and why they feel confident in making the playoffs.

Also, destiny 19-0 plus 6000 passing yards 70td no int 158.3 with Romo sitting out a lot of 4th quarter blow outs

This. Romo gets shit on because his mistakes tend to be higher profile being on the team he's on, but find me a QB who hasn't had a 4th quarter snafu resulting in a loss. That tends to happen when you place too much of the burden of winning on the QB. There's a reason football is a team sport.
