Everything still lining up pretty nicely for the NFL owners to be able to vote on the Raiders moving to Las Vegas as early as this fall.

SD to LA hinges on a vote to further pursue things in SD, otherwise they have to decide to move in January.

They could be in a situation if Oakland to Vegas falls apart and their referendum fails where they have to move or lose LA to Oakland.

As much as I'd love to have the NFL here, I really could do without all the crime that would come with all the Raiders fans

I'm not even an internet lawyer but the only other option for Brady is to petition the Supreme Court; however, the Court is out of session until September 26th, and even then they are unlikely to even look into the matter for months after that.

This thing is happening, and with three strong defenses and the Dolphins (who usually give the Patriots their best) up, I'm not sure even 2-2 is realistic. I'm not betting against the Patriots in any game after that though.

So his option now is to appeal to the supreme and get a stay from Ruth Bader. Wonder how much he likes Trump as a good friend right now.

Espn.com did a power rankings for the next 3 seasons. Seattle was #1 (Pete Carrol was ranked #1 coach in their rankings, they also had #1 ranking for their drafting). Skins had top spot of the 4 NFC East teams (#12 overall). Cowboys 4th out of 4 in the NFC East at #26 overall.

Although considering when they did this back in 2013 looking ahead for 2014-2016 they ranked the 49ers #1...grain of salt is needed.

I have a hard time buying the Seahawks as #1. If not for Palmer's age, I'd give the Cardinals the edge as the top team in the division.

Plus, the Eagles have Wentz now, so they're clearly #1 for the foreseeable future.

I'm not sure how you even begin to predict how good every team will be for the next 3 seasons. That's crazypants.

This is the problem his age. how much longer is he going to be healthy? If not for the Seahawks shitting the bed in the first half of that divisional game we are SB bound for a third straight year by shitting on the Cardinals in their home stadium in the NFC Championship game.

They broke it down into 5 categories for each team with % weights: Roster (30%), QB (20%), Draft (15%), Front Office (15%), and coaching (20%). It's behind the paywall (Insider) which I don't have so I don't know the exact rankings other than the few team blogs that listed theirs. Think for Arizona they basically said Palmer's age and injury history was the main negative on their resume. Hell half of us last year were expecting his leg to fall off at some point.

Again though, in 2013 they had San Fran ranked #1 going for the next 3 years through to 2016. We know how that went.

I think the only real question for the Seahawks is keeping a great roster together now that they are paying their players. They had cheap contracts on some of their best players for a few seasons, and are actually paying now. So we will see how they do in continuing to draft and develop players. Obviously the last several years has been great, so they very well could continue to do well. Now they need to actually do something about their O-Line and not just pray that Wilson can continue to save them with his crazy hax escape skills.

It is so crazy how the Cowboys top that list. They haven't been relevant in years (outside of one successful year in 2014) yet continue to be such a huge valued franchise.
