They should just because not applying the fine is against SOP. But it wouldn't be the NFL if they weren't inconsistent on applying the rules.

Itlan Itlan is just trying to distract from his team getting dinged for using walkie-talkies during the Dallas game.
I don't think it's a big deal personally. Dallas lost that game because OBJ took a slant to the house and the defense played out of their minds. But whatever punishment comes is whatever, idc.

I was at the cowboy game, just getting back online for the first time since then, so getting caught up.

No kidding. They said only his 2nd fumble in 5 years? Impressive

Weren't both of Witten's fumbles this year though? Or was he ruled down on the other one I'm thinking of from this year?

No fine for Zeke.

They should apologize for the fucking penalty next. That is what the penalty was for, right? I couldn't hear and I didn't see anything else that might have drawn a flag. How can you allow the lambeau leap and throw a flag for that?

I hope he keeps celebrating with the kettle. Maybe next time just drop the ball in there

Fuck the NFL.

Bell was right tho, AB and Bell just did a handshake dance thing and AB got a 24k fine and Bell got 12k + the unsportsmanlike.

No Fun League indeed.

Odell took his helmet off OFF the field of play and was not only fined but incurred a penalty.

Someone needs to dislodge the rotten cock out of Goodell's ass and get him some help. This penalty garbage is going to end up costing the NFL a lot more than just the first half of this season cost them. As the NBA keeps growing in popularity, the NFL keeps trying to find new ways to disenfranchise viewers and fans. It's working, I barely watch now.

Same. I watch the Giants, and gather with my friends on Thursdays to eat wings (really only watch the second half usually). Other than that, I set my fantasy lineups and usually don't give a fuck if I miss a game. I don't even bother with SNF or MNF usually, I go to sleep so I can hit the gym in the AM.

Welcome to the dark side.

It's quite freeing to have your Sundays back. I only come here to shit post now. I should probably change my avatar as I barely give a shit about the NFL anymore.

Only certain teams in the NBA really bring in the viewers. They had a game this year that got less ratings than a Gunsmoke rerun on Tvland. The NBA is in trouble too.

I dunno. I feel like the NBA is more popular than it's been in a long time. I also live in the Bay Area and am a Warriors fan, but the superstar power currently is ridiculous. LBJ's still the best, Westbrook doing things that haven't been done in decades, Harden has become one of the most surprisingly prolific PGs, a lot of the young players drafted in the past few years look very legit, and the Warriors play the most beautiful brand of basketball ever seen.

This is the first year when I've decided to put on a solid NBA matchup instead of MNF or TNF. The only problem with the NBA is that Convo is banned and we can't shit on him and The Process and how it will never work out.

I'm going to the Jazz-Dubs game tonight and I'm stoked.

As a Redskin fan this has been one of the most entertaining and fun season's of my life. Every game (except the steelers and panthers games) has been tons of fun to watch. Close games with big plays and good offense.

Also I happened to find an amazing sports bar to watch all the games at this season, which made everything even better. 70+ people all loudly rooting and yelling for their teams, some ignorant and some well informed. constant shit talk, yelling, and laughing at the browns.

Great season, even if the skins don't make the playoffs.

Refs suck, commercials suck, Goodell sucks. But I still love me some football.

I met someone at the game sunday who might be even sadder than @Convo

Sitting behind us wearing a cowboy shirt. He tried to pick a fight with us after the dak TD run because we turned around and were cheering, saying something about how he can do it with his feet and his arm, or something. He leaned forward, very combative and started making threats about how we better not ever turn around and scream in his face again. After a few minutes, he was still trying to pick a fight and finally one of us went, "I don't get it, you're wearing a cowboys shirt". He replied, "Oh I'm not a cowboys fan".

The people we got the tickets from are season ticket holders and they told us he's a well known asshole in the section. So, this fucker either has season tickets or at least comes to the game often enough that he's known ... just to root against the home team? I mean, holy shit, that's sad. And he was really rooting for the buc's too. If I didn't know he was always there being an ass, I woulda thought he was just a bucc's fan living in dallas and maybe he was told he had to wear the shirt to get the tickets. What do you guys think? Sadder than convo, or not?

If I went to a game in Philly, I undoubtedly would not wear any Giants gear. I'm not sure I'd wear any Eagles gear, but I definitely wouldn't wear Giants gear. That's what I thought of reading this, but it wouldn't make sense to try to blend in and then pick fights lmfao.

You didn't ask why he was wearing the Cowboys outfit? I would've antagonized him for sure.

The more I think about that guy, the sadder I am for him. That's why I didn't egg him on. In his defense, after we asked about the shirt, he settled down. Almost as if he forgot he was dressed in such a way that he could be mistaken for a cowboy fan. He also seemed to get more vocal in his anti-cowboyness after that. Don't know if that's just because I recognized his voice, or because for a while there, the buccs looked like they had a chance.
