The Browns are telling you what I have been saying since before the draft, Wince is a bust and the Browns know what a 1st round qb bust look like.

I guess we will find out... it's going to be a terrible year for you if all the shit you've been talking piles up and slaps you across your ugly face!

Wentz's play could get you banned for a year. Me on the other hand, I'm sitting good, the Bradford trade was the biggest victory I could have. I still can't believe we got a 1st for him! But pile on a good season by Wentz and year long ban of you.. could it be much better? SB!?

If Wentz has a good game (which is likely against that shitiful Browns defense) the scrutiny on Fisher/Goff is going to x1000000000000

That's fucking hilarious, the most NFL ready QB prospect lol. Usually when QBs go 1 and 2, one bust the other does well but something tells me both will be bust.

But you don't know what that something is b/c you're a dope!

I don't see how the Eagles think Wentz is ready but that's the shit they talking.. They literally said he's ready after everything they've seen. So we will see, I think they look at the first 2 weeks as a good opportunity to get him going since it's the Browns and Bears.

Jeff Fisher got lucky once with Air McNair in 20+ years, I foresee a very likely Alex Smith career playing out for Goff but Goff has a higher upside than Smith did.

No rookie is "ready" for the NFL, they all take their lumps and learn but some happen to have better teams around them than others (and coaches especially). Cant coddle them like Fisher is doing.

Philly is making the right move. You pushed your chips all in with these trades for QBs, whats the fucking point in making them sit....so their feelings dont get hurt?

Had he played more of preseason, I'd agree,, but he just hasn't had enough reps imo. It's fine tho, b/c we're already going to run and throw a ton of screens anyway, We're just going to end up doing even more of it. Ideally, our first drive will be short, safe throws with a lot of runs mixed in.

So what they're thinking is that everybody was just playing too slow for him in pre-season? Once the game speeds up everyone else will be on his level finally and he'll be fine?

It's an interesting theory. I can't refute it. They get paid big bucks to figure that shit out.

The whole reps argument is a terrible one.

Reps vs your 1st team defense who pulls up and isnt trying to kill your QB, in a non gameday situation means nothing. Both Mannings pointed out how much they learned (in Peypeys case) or didnt learn (eli) by playing vs holding a clipboard and not seeing the speed of the game live. If you magically make the playoffs with a rookie QB you won the lottery, but you are building for future seasons. The win now bullshit needs to stop.

Ben etc from that draft class are in what, season 13 or 14 now?

It's not just about the defense, it's about him just running plays and getting comfortable with the 1st team starters. He wasn't doing that.

It'll be some sloppy football Sunday but as long as he's not getting killed every down, I'm good.

.................your expectations are ridiculous

Ben and Antonio Brown took a couple seasons of season games + offseason to get their chemistry really going. Same with Brees and Brandin Cooks.

You really think some rookie should already have the same type of chemistry. It takes time, you go through the pains of year 1 and 2 usually so the next you know, 10+ of their career are amazing.

The guy played a half a pre season game then got hurt and hasn't practiced much. Last week they said his ribs were 60%... My expectations are he's going to have a rough go at it and I really didn't see the harm in letting him practice a few weeks with the first team while Daniels started a few games. not sure why that is such an issue for you? I don't think that approach would hurt his growth much in the long term.
