You wouldn't understand. No doubt you jumped on the Warriors bandwagon once they got good. I can't wait for the Sixers to start! You'll see why I'm so excited!!
So what you're saying is that without a healthy Dez, and with a poor running game scheme fit in McFadden, and poor backup QBs, Dallas wasn't that good in the the three areas which are going to help them score points? I agree. See also my post prior to that one where I addressed that directly.
Good luck convincing some sucker to take Kaeperbro and his 11 million guarantee.
Giants threw money at a problem. Which in any league means they paid Top tier money to guys who most likely will never live up to it. I'm sure the chances of it working out are about the same as Dak having a good run.
Looking at it objectively I'd say Dak > Wilson/Brady/Rodgers but still half a step below Romo
Cowboys go 19-0
My prediction for Dak is for him to have more production on the field than the entire Eagles 2016 draft class.
So basically you guys are all noise and none of you actually have much confidence in the shit you spew on here. Not that it wasn't already obvious. Deflections and hyperbole every step of the way.
Where is that wuss @Hoss at? Let's here what he has to say. My guess is it's more of the same.
Most people didn't think Wilson was going to be all that great either. Shit, even Seattle didn't think they'd have to lean on him so soon after signing Flynn to that deal. But dude balled out in preseason, as a rookie is supposed to, and took the starting job away from Flynn while dude was dealing with an injury. He got Bledsoe'd hard. Wilson had a strong defense and running game to support him so he didn't need to do too much. Just play the game and don't turn the ball over. He did that.
Dak's in a different situation in a couple of senses. Dallas' D isn't all that but I thought they did well last year given the circumstances. I think they'll be middle-third overall and the turnover differential should normalize back to average. However, Dak does have a strong run game. Elliot and Morris fit the scheme. He also has way more receiving weapons than Wilson did and he seems to not be relying on a single "safety blanket" in the outings so far. And ultimately, there's no QB controversy to be had. Once Romo is healthy, he'll take the snaps.
Moreso than the other QB draft picks, maybe barring Lynch (but only on Defense really), Dak is walking into a team ready to go. Offensively they appear to have all the pieces. I think he'll do very well in Romo's absence, and might even lead to them giving Romo extra time for that fracture to heal. Either way, he's going to be good.
That said, the first six weeks are going to be a real good test. Giants are always a tough opponent, and Washington looks to be getting their shit together. Bears are 49ers are probably wins but then they have the Bengals, who despite their playoff futility are still a good team, and the Packers, who should be a bit better than last year. I think 3-3 after 6 games is an acceptable record all things considered.
To be fair to Wilson you still had mouth breathers here as recently as last year saying Wilson sucks.
4-2 3-3 is my prediction for Dak after 6, but because Tony while fragile is a tough fucker so 3-1 or 2-2 when Tony comes back early...after he gets broke again I'll revisit my predictions.
