I dont think 2k, but I think he leads the league for sure...i mean its certainly possible he could reach 2k but its rarely been done. A lot of those guys on the OL were rookies or still young, should just get better this season as well.

I agree with all those points but there is a reason he fumbles so much, even if he gets lucky and his team recovers and that's because he isn't a rb. People who rely on speed never last long in the NFL because once the speed is gone they have nothing.

Take Wittens old ass, every year is the year of his decline yet it never happens because Wittens slow ass was always slow, have to have that step to lose it. Austin is speed, nothing more.

Also Rams don't play in a patsy division. The defenses the Rams play aren't cupcakes like those guys in the NFC Least. ;)

I mean, most of those fumbles are on misjudging punts. Is it ok? Hell no, but it's not like he's getting stripped half the time he carries the ball. As far as speed, he's still young. Is he going to have a super long productive career like Jerry Rice? Fuck no. If he stays healthy I see no reason he doesn't get better over the length of his contract.

Gadget player, they talked about him like he was just behind Hopkins, Brown, Bryant when in fact he's not even in the better #2 based on production as a WR. Seriously if other WRs were paid like him no hands body catching Terrance Williams would get 10m a year.

If he was on a talented offense with the best OL in football like Dallas he would shit all over Terrance Williams.
NFL Stats: by Team Category

Look who is at 32. Look at the QBs he has played with. Look at the retards coaching the team. Teams dont even worry about the deep ball or passing game from the Rams because a) their QBs dont have time to throw them and b) dont have any receivers other than Austin.

Watch the intra division games Seattle plays vs the Rams. They put Sherman in man coverage on Austin the entire game and give zero fucks about the rest of the Rams passing offense because why should they? Old ass Kenny Britt and Brian Quick scare nobody. When you add all that shit together, its fucking incredible Austin managed 10 tds last year.

I'm sure he would, Williams isn't good. We can play if he was on this team or that team all you want but fact remains he isn't in the category of the people they mentioned him with.

Also you agree Hopkins is the best WR in the league then yes and not AB? Hopkins had less help than Austin.

Yes. It should be the most competitive this year though. I think any team in the South could win it tbh

Kenny Britt had 681 yards receiving. There is our #1 receiver. Jesus, just reading it made me sad again. Isaac Bruce is rolling over in his retirement.

Brian Hoyer last year was better than all of the QBs Austin played with combined probably.

Hopkins better than AB? He is the best route runner in the league and there's not even a close second. He lacks Hopkins size though, I mean idk, there is nobody I would rather have than AB at receiver. Hopkins, ODB, Julio, AB are all in that 1st elite tier though.

Think I'd take Julio Jones if I had to pick, but all of those guys would probably transform the Rams into a playoff team.

Seriously...Brian Hoyer...look at who AB has and what Hopkins has. Just using your logic based on production and talent surrounding the player Hopkins is hands down the best.

He's also playing in a shit tier division and there are no other mouths to feed. Regardless, when they're that good it's nit-picking bias to really determine who is better no?

How about that Dez though?

If he could stay healthy I might pick Dez over anyone, but the health issues keep him down a peg -- and the off the field stuff kind of knocks him down again -- I definitely think Dez is the best red zone receiver in the league with the caveat that he can actually play when you look at just pure ability. Julio has had the foot/hamstring problems, and being healthy is an undervalued part of the package and why I wouldnt trade AB for anyone else....ODB jr is probably the closest 2nd all things factored in.

Hoyer had 19tds to 7 ints last year

Nick Foles had 7 tds and 10 ints and thats WITH being benched half the fucking year in lieu of dogshit Case Keenum and his jerkoffworthy 165 yards per game through the air.

Its not even remotely close. Houston finished 18th in passing and the Rams were dead last. If not for Austin and Gurley they might never have scored touchdowns on that putrid offense.

I'm down on Dez precisely because when Romo was out he was garbage, he was hurt and never fully recovered he claims so I'll cut him some slack. If he wants to be the best show he can do it with Dak and I'll gain back what faith I had previously.

I thought AB was the best until Hopkins last year with no rb, and balled out. Fact remains true elite players get theirs, regardless of the supporting cast and we have seen it time and time again through out the years. Wins are different though.
