Schwartz ran a completely different defense and it fit with what they had built for a few years. Rex's system is nowhere close to the same so I'm not all that surprised. Granted, as a coach you should fit the system to the players, not the other way around, but very few coaches do this and when draft time/FA comes around they always go after guys who fit their style.

I'm convinced Whaley (the GM) doesn't know what the fuck he's doing and nothing he's done since he took over has changed that opinion. This is the guy who drafted E.J. Manuel and traded up for Sammy Watkins. He's the one who basically put this team together.

Bills are staring at 0-3 since the Cardinals are next. And I don't think 10 days to prep is going to give them much more of a chance than they have now.

But at least they have the fans.
