Bradford looked pretty good between the rapings he got. Stuck in there and took the hits will still making some throws.

Holy shit the Vikings o-line is bad though. Bradford won't last more than 2 games if they can't get their pass protection unde control

Carolina, NY and Houston next 3 for Minn. If Bradford survives that gauntlet with that Offensive Line, he will ascend to Valhalla.

I think the qualifying requirement is too high.

Maybe two consecutive 1st downs or a 3rd down conversion is more realistic.

Pretty sure the Skins problem is that Cousins is hot garbage and Fat Gruden/Joe Barry couldn't coach a pee wee team.
I'd like to counter your assessment but they were handed two extremely short fields and could only manage 6 pts. There's the difference in the game right there.

Dallas D surprised me. I mean, Cousins helped a bit with his long ball misses, but they did a good job toward the end of the game. At least enough to secure the win. And Dak man. I don't think you could ask more out of a rookie QB. He still has a ways to go overall but I think the future is in good hands and there's time to work out the kinks.

Here's hoping this carries over to Chicago and then the 49ers. Would be nice to start 3-1.

Dallas D has been decent in the second half of both games, if only it didn't take half the game to get their shit together

Nah, they didn't play all that well overall. Too many big plays allowed. I'm going with the idea that Cousins is coming back down to reality and played just bad enough for Dallas to make a couple of stops when they needed to.

Shit, five receivers or tight ends had gains of 25 yards or longer. It's no wonder Cousins attempted 46 passes, they were almost moving the ball at will through the air.

49ers game was what I expected but last week's game had me hoping for something better. I was glad they kept it competitive in the first half at least. As I feared before the season, when we're not going against the Ram's o-line we don't get pressure on the QB and if you don't pressure Cam he's going to pick you apart. I blame the pass rush more than the secondary for those big plays.

Game last night sucked on several levels but it comes back to one thing for the Packers. They will never win another championship with McFatty at the rudder and the first one was a fluke. Whats worse is that I think the offense is starting to fall off in talent, despite it getting the lion share of the attention every single year. Rodgers is clearly not himself and Lacy is just terribly inconsistent. Unfortunately for Rodgers, he is going to be squandered like Favre was since we will undoubtedly eek out another 12-4 year and piss away another NFC title game, so there is no way McFatty gets turfed. Rodgers has that thousand yard stare like he knows it deep down, too. People will blame the D, but the D does not have the talent pool and 17 points is a respectable total to hold a division rival to, especially when you are on the field 70% of the game.

So here is to another year of Martyball. Gratz Vikes on a well coached win and hoping AP recovers.

It didn't help your secondary were mostly all in the hospital before the 2nd half even started. :( You had some tough injuries.

With that said, I am not sure why we didn't run a Nickle Spy all night long.

It's just mind boggling how Kalil went from rookie sensation all pro for the next decade to potentially playing himself our of the league. Injuries have played a role here but right now it's pretty much just in the kids head and it's disappointing.

This group theoretically should improve as they develop chemistry through the year. There's two new guys on that line, Boone and Smith, but both are vets that have played well in recent past.

Definitely the one glaring weak spot on the team though.

Eh, I think his assessment of how Cousins has played was spot on. Cousins left a lot of points out there yesterday. On a good day he has 3 or 4 TD passes instead of the 1 he had. That miss to Crowder on the first drive was just...good lord. I can sorta forgive the bomb overthrow to DJax because he probably didn't think he was actually able to overthrow DJax, but it was still there for 6 if he drops it anywhere closer. The pick on 3rd and goal was inexcusable, you're talking about a chip shot FG to put us up 6, even if you drive for a TD there after, massive difference between us only needing a FG to win and having to drive the full field at the end of the game. Don't get me wrong, our D was pretty shitty too (although somehow the run D was an improvement over how it was against Pitt), but it just felt like the offense really could move the ball however much it wanted until Cousins decided to start missing open guys for no reason. You look at Dak in contrast, and he wasn't missing throws low, or forcing his receivers to make some great catch that looked nice but eliminated any chance for YAC. Dak played like he had started all 16 games last year and Cousins was the rookie in his 2nd game.
