I don't want to say this is impossible, but we're just a better team, bro!

Yea, not denying that man. Our coaches let the team down last week. They need to get their shit together. When you have a QB getting sacked multiple times on 2nd down, it's saying your play calling it too predictable.

But all the things that I worried about coming into the season are starting to show. Our corners and WR's just aren't good enough. Wentz has to literally make the perfect throw to get these guys to even catch the ball.

That's why they're probably going to start him against the Browns. That's a team on the rebuild and might be the easiest game on the schedule, though it still needs to be played. Real test would be against Steelers the following week. That's a game I think both Romo and Dak will be hard pressed to win.

Hot start aside, they still need to recover from the Chipening of 2015. Main problem here is by the time they fill the holes, some of the stalwarts are going to be on their way out. While true for many teams, three years hence you probably won't recognize the team currently taking the field.

How can you possibly say that Romo is better right now, when you haven't seen him play in a live game in over a year? When he did come back from injury last year he wasn't even playing that well, so to make the assumption that he is going to step in after such a long layoff and be amazing is taking quite the leap of faith.

I doubt he's forgotten how to play football, but if he plays poorly then you bench him.

I should be clear in saying that I am not sure going with Romo is the wrong choice. But to sit here and say he is going to come back 100% and just start tearing the league apart, especially after the way he came back and played from his last injury, is taking quite a bit of a leap of faith.

This is not baseball or basketball where you have so many games you can experiment with lineup and strategy changes throughout the regular season. You have 16 games. That's it. You ride the hot hand in this sport until it stops working. THEN you try something else. Doing it any other way is patently stupid.

Yea man, really good point. Personnel issues will take some time. I just think about how much better we'd be if we still have Maclin for instance, but we are also working through some guys that are undersized on our Oline like Kelsey, He dropped a lot of weight to fit Chips system and just hasn't put it back on.

Hopefully Romo is reinstated as the starter and they drop like four in a row. That would be wonderful.

Lol... Burfict fined 75k for something on Blount but no comment or punishment or anything on the clearly dirty hit on bennett? How can you look at that gif and say "I dunno... seems legit to me!"

Burfict deserved being suspended for his actions on the field, why they are being lenient with a repeat offender is really confusing.

Ambi, to be clear. If it was a guarantee to get full strength Romo with no rust, and not at risk for re-injuring himself, I would agree he would give them the best chance to win. I'm just not sure that will be the case. And they already know they're winning convincingly with Dak.

How Burfict avoids suspension for that bullshit I'll never know.

"We were not in the wrong here, in my opinion," Lewis told reporters, via ESPN. And it's unfortunate. That's what I have told and stood on and will continue to."

Lewis went on to say that he didn't see Burfict stomp or kick Blount among the pile of players.

"Hell if I can see who steps where or whatever. I see him try to step through and try to go help (a)
teammate."

The best thing about the Dak vs Romo thing is they're almost certainly damned if they do and damned if they don't. Either way they're fairly unlikely to actually win the Superbowl so either way fans will be bitching about who got the call.

I'd like to thank the Cowboys and Romo the fragile bitch for this delicious Cowboys controversy before it happens for real.

This is an awesome situation to be in, in a league without enough quality starting QBs Dallas has two, meanwhile the most NFL ready QB in the draft whose team mortgaged the future for can't beat out Case Keenum.

I'll take our QB "problems" over your teams legitimate problem.

I'm stoked for this weekend. We either get to lose to the Jets with a gimpy armed Flacco or start Mallett and lose to the 1-4 Jets that way. Hopefully that means they go ahead and fire Harbaugh going into the bye week and put this coaching era in the team's past. I'm sure he'll at least last until next year though, probably fall backasswards into 8-8 and simply end up on the hot seat.

Done with him then? They were playing pretty bad before Flacco went down last year but I figured that was just a fluke.
