I like the idea of Raiders in Vegas. Feel like they would fit the city and there could be some $$$ to made if you got your hands on season tickets. Raiders could go 0-16 for the next 20 years and fans would still show up in Vegas wanting to go.

Definitely, just figured you could keep the winning team in the bay area. Personally I'd love the Raiders in SA although it's not the best choice, same colors as the Spurs!

I wanted to add, I almost sort of feel for Eagles fans today. Last week their coach went conservative and lost the game. This week he went aggressive and didn't take points, and it lost the game. Welcome to life with a head coach learning on the job. I really hope you guys give him room to grow and don't run him out of town in a couple of years because football is more fun when rivalries are strong.

Raiders impressed the shit out of me last night. Thought they were solid Wild Card material but now they are right there to win that division, even with Denver and KC.

Funny thought, Eagles and Ravens both started 3-0, both have lost 4 of 5 since then to drop to 4-4. Ravens on top of their division, Eagles last in theirs. It's a crazy world when the Beast is no longer the Least and the AFC North is in a down year.

He's getting killed today and he should be getting killed. His coaching decisions are costing games. That said, nobody calling for his job. We've had a tough schedule and have been in all but one of these games, it's not the worst thing but we gotta improve on a fundamental level.

Went through that for four years. I think last year was the first time JG didn't make a decision which cost a win or a shot at a win (not that he had a chance to, what with how bad the QB play was). Someone correct me if I'm wrong there though.

I get that this day and age people want immediate results but there's precedence for sticking with a plan and seeing it bear out, even if you need to be patient. Obviously you need to have an upper limit on that, but I don't think it should be less than four years given how long it can take to get players in who can work the system, both through the draft and through FA. It's worth noting that JG finally had everything in place in his 4th year and the results bore fruit. 2015 exposed the remaining flaws that needed addressing (lack of depth in key positions) but here we are in 2016 and things are good again.

Stick with it. Lots of decisions to make next few years. If it works out then Eagles/Cowboys will be primetime watching for a long time.

Read something that said right now, the Giants and Redskins would be the two wild card teams. Crazy to think that 4-3-1 is enough for #6.

I agree. I said it before but we're a developmental team. That's just where we are and it's going to take some time. It sucks losing winnable games like this but it's a process. We are actually farther along than I expected.

Im happy the RB position is starting to regain some prestige this year. It was on a downward spiral with the RB by committee thing taking hold, and guys weren't getting paid, not only that, but the WR position was ever increasing in prominence and use, with pass attempts going up across the league. But now with guys like David Johnson, Lamar Miller, Melvin Gordon, Jay Ajayi, Todd Gurley (who hasnt been great this year but still dominates backfield touches), and Zeke Elliot emerging as workhorse, productive backs-- I think we will see a shift in the way teams approach the position going forward, both money and usage wise.

Controlling the clock will always be a factor in the NFL. You can throw throw throw all you want but problems start to happen when you cant run the ball. You start losing games you should of won, and you start to give the defense free reign on playing the pass and teeing off on your QB. Having one of those type of feature RBs solves a lot of these problems.

Which brings me back to Jeff Fisher. Why the fuck isnt Goff playing? Gurley has struggled, but its because hes facing 8 men in the fucking box every down. If Gurley starts to find running room, Goff can grow into the position with a workhorse feature back to spell his pass attempts. But instead the opposite has happened. Gurley has regressed with Keenum playing, and its been a lose lose. His post game press conference was unreal. There is no way this guy should still have a fucking job in the NFL.

That's weird, since Detroit is 5-4 (guess 4-3-1 technically better pct). But this is what happens when not all teams have had their bye and random ties are thrown in. But all the NFC wild card teams have been losing. Detroit lost last week, Philly lost 2 in a row, Green Bay lost 2 in a row, Arizona was on a bye, Tampa lost again. Actually though we would lose more ground on our bye week to someone, but didn't turn out that bad, save with Dallas playing the Browns for the free win.

loved the pitt-ravens game although that is the ONLY game i picked wrong so far this week....seattle wins tonite i'll be 12-1 and the "tiebreaker" game - which was 30-20, i picked 28-18....

so there is a decent chance i won 100 bucks this week

While still a work in progress, I like what Jordan Howard has brought to the Bad News Bears. Matt Forte in his later years was more a glorified receiver out of the back field. Howard appears to be a bruiser type running back - rolling 153 yards or so on Minnesota. It is pleasant seeing a running back hit a pile and drive it forward instead of being stopped cold.
