Is this all you ever have?

Your contribution to this thread is never anything substantial aside from the typical Pats fan circle jerk. You're right there with Cybsled, zombiewhatever etc that all choose to start chiming in come playoff time. Congrats on keeping such good company.

If you weren't functionally retarded, you would have seen that I actually defended the Cooks catch but just think its the exact same circumstances as the James catch and want the calls to be consistent.

I actually agree with you both, I just feel the James catch met all the same criteria as the Cooks catch. Its pretty clear in the video above he catches the ball, knee goes down, and *then* extends the ball -- it happens in a sequence -- not at the same time. Same as catch, tuck the ball, do little hop, ball hits the ground and comes out (in the Cooks catch) because he already had established possession. Its that whole process of going all the way to the ground which is a subjective gray area and is silly.

Either way that rule is 99.9% getting changed this offseason when the competition committee meets again. While I am salty about it, Im more salty the Steelers were not ready for the bullshit scenario. Not having a couple plays ready was just idiotic and bad coaching at that point. Trying to be Dan Marino and throwing it into triple coverage was even dumber, but hopefully AB will be ready if we play them again and get past Jacksonville

What does James knee being down have to do with anything? This is the NFL not college. James is a fucking dumbass who could have cradled the ball to his body and rolled his dumb ass in to the end zone, but instead he reached out like a poorly coached retard, while he was going to the ground, lost control of the ball and let it settle on the grass. There is nothing subjective about it, the rule is 100% clear and leaves no interpretation to the referees, its perfect.

Steelers honks are straight retards.

Im sitting here going through playoffs possibilities for the Bills and Ravens, and I want to revive the idea of realigning the AFC

Swap the Bills and Ravens. The Bills are further North and the Ravens are further east.

Bills
Steelers
Browns
Bengals
(All teams within a 3.5 hour drive of each other)

Pats
Jets
Ravens
Dolphins
(All teams actually on the east coast)

I always thought Indy and Cincy should be in the same division. That drive is barely an hour.

As a person with a functioning brain, the most retarded divisional member is Dallas in the NFC East.

As a Cowboys fan, I'd never give up playing the Redskins, Giants and Eagles every year. Having a large presence in those markets is fantastic.

What's funny is that they used to be in the NFC East while the Falcons, Panthers, Rams, and Saints (all east of Dallas) were in the NFC West. Now that the Rams moved to LA the NFC West actually makes sense for the first time ever.

Was messing with the playoff simulator and there is some weird shit that goes down depending on if multiple teams end up 9-7 and who wins tiebreakers. Funniest one I saw was that if Tennessee loses out (Rams, Jags) to finish 8-8, Buffalo loses to the Pats, Ravens lose finale to Cincy, and San Diego wins out...then Ravens get the 5 seed and Bills the 6. But if Ravens won out and finished 10-6 for 5th seed, San Diego would win a heads up tiebreaker with Buffalo if they were both 9-7 for 6th seed (despite being odd team out in 3 way tie at 9-7). Other strange scenarios with Tennessee winning out too or Buffalo managing to win out.

This is deliciously ironic: "Man with possible concussion confused about what happened".

I laughed. Oh, and then I gave zero fucks about whether he did or did not have a concussion. And twice that number of fucks about the $100,000 fine that is an infinitesimal blip on the team finances.

Do you ever do anything except for cry about Pats fans or threaten to beat people up?

I should start this by saying I'm a Pats fan. I feel the same way about this call I did about the tuck rule call, and it's hard to be objective about a call that goes in your favor, but I'll give it a shot.

It was the correct call on a shitty rule. Everyone watching, patriots fans included, thought that was a catch and a touchdown. But the refs made the call exactly by the rulebook... Id rather have a clean win than a dirty one. But id also rather have a dirty win than a clean loss.

Hopefully that explains it.

The bills have better odds to make it if they tie the Titans than if they don’t...since they are weak on head to head tiebreakers but own everyone in the three way breakers

Yo @Gunnar we avatar betting it up for Sunday?

Hell no. Bills are going to get destroyed. You think i would bet on Tryhard Taylor on the road at Gillette? Shit, I would reverse it. Ill change to Brady if the Bills WIN.

This is an insta-loss. Ill just be here rooting for the Titans to beat Rams, and Ravens and Chargers to lose.

Why? If the Bills cant beat the Pats in Gillete whats the point of going to the playoffs in the AFC?

Titans are going to get their dicks stomped in lets get real. They're down a starting CB and a slot CB.
