7 some minutes left in the fourth quarter of the Lions-Packers game. Lions score a touchdown, putting them ahead 33-11, and decide to go for the two point conversion. Abdullah lined up in he backfield. Trick play starts -- the snap goes straight to Abdullah as Golden Tate swoops around across the backfield. Abdullah hands off to Tate as Stafford sneaks ahead past the D-line. Tate stops running, throws a forward pass, and Stafford catches it in the end zone. Stafford adds a scoring RECEPTION to his stat line. Talk about insult to injury hahaha.

If the 49ers go and get another receiver to play with Goodwin so Goodwin can operate as a number 2, they will have Garcon back but if they can either draft a true number 1 or get a guy in free agency like DeAndre Hopkins or something, they can be a playoff team. Kittle looks like a young star receiving threat, and Celek is a decent TE option who could start and be productive. Carlos Hyde is a top 10 RB in the league and they will resign him.
All they need is the WR and some olinemen. They spent a ton of draft capital on DBs recently and the defense still needs help, but if the young guys on defense keep getting better (Solomon Thomas, Rueben Foster, DeForest Buckner) and Garopollo is a Pro Bowl caliber QB, the Rams will have to worry about the 49ers for years to come. The NFC West is going to be crazy if Arizone gets a QB.
I hope Goodwin is OK because he got fucking blasted.
