Alright, so I know I have been spamming the boards throughout the game like a fucking spazz, but here are my thoughts.

The 49ers defense should be better than they played tonight. However, they are missing a huge component in Reid (and Foster but he didn't play last week and they still did okay), and they also lost Tartt late. I am extremely disappointed that they didn't manage a single sack on Goff. There has been all this talk about the 49ers defensive line, and while they were able to get some pressure, overall it wasn't great. Something needs to change to get some pressure.

The offense finally woke up, but I don't know if that was due to the Rams slacking off or if they are finally starting to find some sort of rhythm. I really hope that this gives Hoyer a bit of confidence and he can start playing a bit better. And holy fuck, the number of dropped passes.

Lastly, penalties and injuries. The 49ers have GOT to address the stupid amount of penalties. Sure some of them were bad calls, but by and large it is just mental mistakes. It must be fixed.

Oh I lied. Actual last part, injuries. The 49ers can't seem to catch a break with injuries. I really hope they are able to avoid anything further, because they are having guys drop right and left

This is what happens when two shitbird defenses on cellar dweller teams are involved. It was at least pretty entertaining. I know its trendy to hate on Fischer, but he was a good defense guru, so the Rams were bound to see some falloff after giving him the boot. Considering that they are averaging close to 32 points a game right now and are 2-1, I think the trade off is likely worthwhile.

Well that was fun. I was predicting a defensive slugfest similar to the Seahawks game so 80 combined points is just ridiculous.

Worst part is not the loss but the injuries. The defensive secondary was the weak spot before half of them got injured.

Fucking Kyle Shanahan play action for a TD from the 1 on 1st and goal.

I know them feels. The other week the raiders let Lynch rassle them up a first down at the 2 and then threw 3 fucking passes to Cooper and kicked the FG. 21.4 pts for Hyde, god damnit i'm gonna end up losing this week.

Nice. We lost because of a missed PAT.

The PI call was trash but the worst for me was Aaron Donald getting called for roughing the passer. Hit was as textbook and clean as it gets.

Anyway, all set.

That PAT was literally a killer.Missed extra points make my stomach sink, because you know its going to rear its ugly head again at some point.

Eh, at the end of the day, who knows if the PAT would've mattered. With the shittastic linebackers and secondary we have, the Rams had no end in sight to the amount of points they were going to score.

Fortunately, we were able to keep pace, but the middle of the field was a complete fucking mess. Guys jumping routes, playing man on what was clearly zone coverage, etc. On top of that, I really think Bowman might be done. Sure, he's still better than the total lack of depth Baalke left us with at that position, but he's clearly not even remotely the same after his injuries. I thought he still looked 95ish% after the knee, but he looks about 75-80% after the achilles.

That said, I'm glad that the 49ers are at least exciting again and playing with heart, not just giving up after the first half. Thankfully, we're still losing close games so it bodes well for our draft while also looking hopeful for our future playoff chances.

they only lost by 2 and they ended the game with a failed 2-point conversion, the failed PAT definitely mattered.

Good god those uniforms made my eyes hurt. I turned it on in the 4th quarter so I probably saw the best part of the game. Even though it was getting exciting, I could barely watch through the 2 pt conversion attempt. The niners uniform probably wouldn't have been as bad without that shit the rams were wearing.

I hope the rams play the seahawks in their color rush uniforms sometime soon. Millions of football fans will be searching TV settings looking for a black and white mode.

Source: QB Bradford expected out vs. Bucs

Poor Bradford, the guy just can't stay healthy. You have to wonder if this ends up being career threatening. Non contact injury on his twice repaired knee that causes swelling and him to be out a couple weeks? Doesn't have a good outlook.

What's the deal with Teddy B anyway? Is he coming back? Is Bradford the future? I would assume so after you dish out the first rounder but idk.
