Guess letting two pro bowl calibre linemen walk over the last couple years was not such a bright idea. Pass coverage is as bad as ever. I still think Atlanta peters out, though, with that 4th quarter falloff issue they sem to still have. But Packers will be one and done in the playoffs again. McFatty is the Jeff Fischer of the playoffs.

I've been saying Eli sucks for years, and I've been saying he'd still be the Giants QB for years - he would still have had a $32 million cap hit if they got rid of him this year.
But that was future tense. He only has a $12.4 Mil dead money cap hit next season, and a mere $6.2 Mil dead money cap hit for 2019.
I can't imagine the Giants pay him $23 million in 2019 to stay on the team, and depending on how this year goes, even 2018 could be dicey: He's owed $22 Mil if he plays in 2018. Is Eli better than a free agent you pay $10 million for? I guess he's better than a Tyrod Taylor... maybe?

Chargers + Rams = less combined attendance than USC game. NFL gonna look stupid if they dont find some way to give those teams the easiest fucking schedules known to man so they can get some wins and try to make that gorgeous new stadium not look retarded on national TV when its half empty.

I mean, the Chargers do play in the Home Depot Center or whatever the fuck they're calling it now so 30k max? LA expects a team to win and be entertaining or cheap. You can't expect fans to pay a shit ton for a shitty product like what the Rams put out last year.
The Chargers move I just don't get. Growing up in Socal there is a healthy dislike between San Diego and LA when it comes to sports. San Diego-ans just haven't had any reason to hate LA football for the past 20+ years until now. Welcome to LA, new Clippers. It's going to be super rough filling even that new stadium in Inglewood though. Every week for NFL season? Good luck getting people to drive through that traffic into the hood for a football game at outrageous prices.
The Colosseum is a complete ass place to watch a game as well. Still, I'll probably make a trek to catch a game sooner or later before they move into the new place.
(plus USC is good and has a Heisman candidate QB with a bitter rematch against Texas)

LA has too much shit to do unlike places such as GB or Pittsburgh for people to give fuckall about whatever team unless you're good. LA is just a shitty market it seems, and its the same here in Florida. You live near the beach an hour at most in any direction pretty much, people would rather spend their money on coke and weed over a mediocre football team.

Los Angeles is also mostly made up of transplants (San Diego, too). Most of your actual football fans will be fans of teams from wherever they came from.
Which means you're mostly just left with Mexican fans.
