New DVR came through and I finally got to watch Garoppolo. The kid definitely has it. No reason to franchise him next year, John Lynch should just bend over and spread his cheeks for Jimmy cause it sure looks like he got a franchise QB for a 2nd round pick. That TD to Celek was fucking awesome. Did he really point at his wrist to signal "Celek time" before he threw the ball? That's pretty crazy if so.

Marquis Goodwin is having quite the year where he's playing great but having a family member die every other week. Loving Trent Taylor and George Kittle as rookies as well. I was assuming they would go for a receiver early in the draft but if they can get Garcon back and keep these guys they're actually not looking that bad at WR.

Reuben Foster must have a low threshold for pain or something. Twice this game he was rolling around like his leg was broken and then back in there 2 plays later and he's done that in almost every game. Luckily he plays like a total stud even if he's rolling around crying like a baby between plays.

The complete lack of a running game is a bit concerning, but I guess that's the Titan's strong suit.

Next two games are looking tough but even if we lose them both it's hard not to get excited about this 49ers team now. Another good offseason for John Lynch and these guys will be contending for the playoffs next year.

Cheers to the Rams for officially ending the Seahawks dynasty today.
Totally agree on the contract. The 49ers are going to be flush with cap space, get that shit knocked out now. You franchise him this offseason and he performs like this all year, you will just pay more anyway. Lock him up now.

And I was thinking the exact same thing about Foster. At one point he was laying on his stomach and looked like he was dying, and I was sure he was done for the game. Nope! Right back in the game 2 plays later. I mean the guy is just amazing to watch though, and I can only see him getting better and better. Hopefully this injury shit goes away.

At this point it doesn't seem like Hyde is going to get a contract extended to him. He is a great back when fed the ball consistently, especially up the middle, but Shanahan just doesn't seem to want to use him that way extensively at all. So be it I guess. Breida doesn't seem anything special, and that guy they picked in the 4th round who went on IR sure wasn't impressive in the pre-season. I guess we will see.

Overall I am pretty excited to see the direction the 49ers are going in. I am worried this will almost cause too much hype going into the offseason, especially if they manage to win any of their last couple games. While I think things are definitely looking up, they still need a lot more talent on the team. Offensive line, Cornerback, and then a true #1 WR would be awesome.

I am fucking pumped for a regime change in Cincinnati. Even remembering how bad we were pre-Marvin, I don't see us being worse than we are now. The talent on the roster is way better than the days when it was the Corey Dillon Show. It's crazy to think that Marvin Lewis has been head coach of the Bengals for half of my fucking life. Bengals have so many options due to Dalton's contract too. New regime could decide to dump him with minimal impact.

Of course the Bengals will just promote Darrin Simmons to head coach and everything stays the same.

Yeah, problem is whoever gets hired next is there for at least five years no matter how bad he is.

Or John Fox heads to Cincinnati while Marvin Lewis heads to Chicago - this is the NFL you know...

Not a good spot for this really, but John Skipper is resigning from ESPN citing a substance addiction (probably addicted to sexual harassment).

The top guy on my personal list is Pat Shurmur. What he's done with the Vikings is fucking impressive. Making Case Keenum look like an MVP. You know that's not Zimmer.

The 49ers will give Jimmy his money.

They would be fucking stupid to franchise him at an astronomical price just to give him a season long look. They will be in a Kirk cousins situation, they can just avoid all of that and sign the guy for 3 to 5 years at 22 million a year or so.

He has only started 3 games, but honestly I think we have seen enough to understand this is a quality QB who can win games and is probably better than 70% of the QBs in the league.

My biggest concern with who fills the Bengals job is the fact that they'll also become defacto GM for the team. Marvin was a terrible in-game coach but he could build a good team. The new guy may be a good coach but have no nose for talent.

Have football pregame hosts always yelled at the top of their lungs through the whole show? I don't know if it's been worse lately or if it's just annoying me more.

I kinda want them to win out instead of tanking for a better draft position. If they went on a 3 game win streak, against all 3 NFCS teams which may all go to the playoffs, would be a great way to show this team isn't as bad as everyone thinks it is. If they weren't playing winning division rivals, maybe I'd be more in the tank for pick mindset.

Unfortunately, I think they are as bad as everyone thinks, so we'll likely lose out for a better draft pick anyway. I'll take it, begrudgingly I guess
